Billie's POV
I heard a soft knock on the door, and I got up to check it. Mike wasn't around, but I wouldn't be surprised if he left because I was annoying.
There was a note sticking out the bottom of the door, so I picked it up.
"Dear Billie,
Honestly, I wanted these notes to be anonymous for awhile, but I feel like I need to tell you who I really am. But, we should meet up. If you trust me, meet me at the school coffee shop at 3 PM today. I can't believe I'm telling you, my crush, I like you. Well, see you then, I hope.
Signed, anon"
I blushed. This is serious, I am going to see whoever is sending me these notes.
The back of my brain really hopes that it is Mike. I couldn't hold the excitement and rushed to get a nice pair of black skinny jeans and a shirt that doesn't have nacho stains on it.
~~
I panicked for the second time. Would being half an hour early seem desperate?
Pull yourself together Armstrong, you got this, strong is literally in your last name.
I steadied my breathing and carefully headed down the stairwell to the coffee shop. I opened the door and saw basically no one there. Well, Mike was there- WAIT, MIKE IS HERE?!
