I walk into Chases room, he sits at his desk, while playing fortnite.
He doesn't notice that I came in.
I sit down on the bed, and plug up my phone.
He turns around in his chair.
"Hi babygirl." He says getting up.
He kissed my cheek.
"Hi." I say.
"How was your day." He said sitting down next to me.
I shrugged.
"Not the best." I say laying my head on his shoulder.
He jumped up.
"I have something for you." He said going to the side of his bed.
He walks over to me, he holds a big box, with a square cut open at the top.
"Chase what is this?" I ask him.
He holds me the box, I turn around and sit it down in the bed.
I open the little square to see a golden retriever inside, and it had a little blue bow tied around it's neck.
I turn around and look at Chase.
"Chase.."
"Take her out!" He told me.
I grabbed the tiny animal out the box, she licked my face.
I giggled.
"you little shit." I say to Chase.
He laughs, as I pet my new dogs head.
"Do you like her?" He asked.
Tears rolled down my face.
"Happy Valentine's Day babygirl." He whispers.
"I didn't even get you anything yet!" I yelled.
"I don't need anything." He says.
I petted the puppy again.
"What do you wanna name her?" He asks.
"Sunny." I say.
He smiles.
I put her down on the floor, so she can get used to her surroundings.
She started to run around the room.
I sat down in front of the window, Sunny sat down a few feet away.
"C'mere Sunny!" I call her name.
She runs over to me, and lays down on her back.
I kiss the top of her head.
Chase sat next to me.
I kissed his cheek.
"I love you so much.." I whisper.
"I love you more."
