Backstory: Lexie and Anthony are married, and have two kids, named Austin and Ami, and they are both 7 years old.
Anthony's POV
"Mamas!" I yelled.
"Is someone calling me?" She said, coming downstairs.
"I'm going to pick up the kids from the bus, okay?" I say.
"Okay." She says with a smile.
I smile back, and slip on my shoes.
I walk out the door, and start walking to the bus stop.

After a few minutes, the bus pulled up.
Austin, and Ami..ran out.
"Daddy!" Ami yelled.
"Hi.." I say, as they both hug me.
"How was school?" I ask.
"Look! I was drawing in art!" Ami yelled, holding up a drawing.
"It's beautiful princess." I say.
"What about you Austin?" I ask.
"Nothing much.." he says.
"He got in trouble!" Ami yelled.
"AMI!" He yelled.
"What happened?" I ask.
"It wasn't even that bad.." He said.
I raised an eyebrow.
"He cheated on a math test." Ami says.
"Austin!" I yelled.
"Im sorry!" He yelled, as we walk inside.
"Don't tell your mother." I whispered.
"Don't tell me what?"
We all jump.
"Mommy!" Ami yelled.
"Hi my love.." she said, as she hugged her.
Austin ran up to her, and hugged her as well.
"So, what happened?" She asked.
"Nothing." Austin and I said.
"Ami?"
"Austin cheated on a math test and daddy told us not to tell you." She said.
I gulp.
"Austin..why did you cheat?" She asked.
He shrugged.
"Did you study?"
He shook his head.
"Sorry mama.." he said.
"It's okay, now go get ready for dinner." She says.
The both of them run upstairs.
She looked at me and crosses her arms..
"Heh..love you.." I say, trying to go upstairs.
"Come back." She says.
I stop walking, and turn to her.
She smirks.
"I'm sorry.." I say.
"It's okay." She says.
"Daddy! Help me!" Ami yelled from upstairs.
"I'm coming!" I yelled.
I kiss Lexies forehead, and run upstairs.
I walk into her room.
"What's wrong princess?" I ask.
"Can you help me with my math?" She asked.
"Of course." I say, sitting down next to her.
"What are you working on in math?" I ask.
"Mul-"
"Multa-"
"Multiplication?" I say.
She nods.
I laugh.
"Okay." I say.
BANG!
"AUH!" She yelled.
I held her close to me, as Austin ran in the room.
"Daddy..I'm scared.." Ami said.
I held them both.
"It's okay..it's just lightning." I say.
BANG!
They jump.
"I got you." I say.
"Why don't you guys get ready for bed, the lighting won't bother you any-"
BANG!
The lights turned off.
"Uh oh."
"MOMMY!" Ami yelled.
"Lexie?! Where are you?" I yelled.
We hear footsteps walking upstairs, Lexie enters Amis room.
"I'm scared.." Austin says.
"It's okay.." I say.
Lexie flashes a bright light in our face.
I squint my eyes.
"Sorry." She says, putting it down.
"Kids get ready for bed, okay?" I say.
Lexie passes them the flashlight, and they run off.
BANG!
"EEK!" Ami yelled.
I gulp.
TIME SKIP..
"Come on Ami." I say, grabbing her hand.
"I'm scared daddy.." she says.
I tuck her in.
"It's okay Princess." I say, putting her blanket over her.
BANG!
She jumped.
"It's okay." I say, kissing her forehead.
"Goodnight, I love you." I say.
"Love you too."
I walk out her room, and close the door behind her.
"Your turn Austin." I say.
We walk into his room, and he climbs into bed.
BANG!
He jumped.
"It's okay my dude." I say, frizzing up his hair.
"Dad!" He yelled.
I laugh.
"Good night."
"Goodnight, love you."
"Love you too."
I close his door, and walk to me and Lexies room.
BANG!
I jumped, as I walked inside.
Lexie closed her book.
"Hi." I say.
"The kids..are terrified." She says.
"I know mamas." I say, sliding my shirt over my head.
"They'll be okay, they're sleep now."
BANG!
"EEK!" Ami yelled.
I groan.
I lay down next to Lexie.
BANG!
She jumped.
I wrap my arms around her waist.
"How long will the power be off..?" She asked.
"I don't know." I say.
"Goodnight." She says.
"Goodnight.."
IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT..
BANG!
I hear footsteps running to me and Lexies room door.
"Mommy, Daddy?"
I slowly sit up, Ami and Austin stand in the doorway.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"I'm scared, can we sleep with you?" Austin asked.
"Come on." I say.
The both of them run, and climb on the bed.
"Better now?" I ask.
They both nod.
BANG!
"It's okay.." I say.
"I love you guys, you don't have to be scared."
I hear soft snores, from both of them.
I smile, and drift to sleep.
