I didn't feel like making breakfast so I decided I'd go to Starbucks.

I pulled up to Naomi's house, I honked the horn and she came bolting out. She got in the passengers seat.

"Righttt" she playfully rolled her eyes.
We put on a few beats while we drove to Starbucks.

We pulled up to the parking lot and headed inside. We got our drinks headed back to my car when we saw Jabez and Don.
"Hey ma"
"Hey jay" I smiled at him
Naomi and Don were already talking, I think they'd make a cute couple. We all headed back inside and waited for Jabez and Don's drinks, once they got them we headed back outside. I was in the middle of talking to Jabez when I checked my phone.
"Shit"
"What??" Jabez sounded anxious as he looked me in the eyes
"It's almost 8:30 we're going to be late"
"NAOMI STOP FLIRTING WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!" I shouted loud enough for Naomi to hear.
"Bitch I wasn't-"
"Let's go"
I turned my head to face Jabez, his hand was on the back of his neck.
"I'll see you at school jay"
"Bet." He smiled, so obviously I smiled back, his smile was cute, reassuring in a way. Naomi and I walked to my car, I looked for Jabez and Don and saw they were headed for the sidewalk.
"Are you guys going in your car?"
"We walked here" Jabez and Don said that phrase in unison
"You're coming with us, the school is way too far to walk from here!" I said with a smile on my face
"Hop in" Naomi added
The boys walked over to my car, Naomi and Don were in the back whilst Jabez and I were in the front.
We were half way to school and I thought of all the rumour that had been going around the school about Jabez. I used to believe those, but now, I think he's changed, I don't think those rumours were him. I'm thinking of asking if they were true but, I don't think it's time for that.
📍School
Jabez, Naomi, Don and I bolted out of my car and ran into the school, we all headed to our separate classes. As Naomi and Don headed to their classes Jabez thanked me for the ride.
Later...
At lunch I sat with Naomi and the other close bitches I knew.
"Mamas!"
I looked up and saw the curly head, he was using his hands to tell me to come to him.
"I'll be back"
I walked over to him.
"Yo so there's a party going on at Dre's tonight and I wanted to know if you wanna come?"
"Uh, I'm not really the type of person who goes to parties."

He smiled, he seemed excited, but I knew he was holding it in.
"Thanks, I'll see you there mamas"
He winked at me and walked back over to where Andre, Don and all the other guys were. I walked over to the girls' table and sat down.
