[I guess I fell asleep right when we got home, it hurts me seeing Savio upset. Please mom, if you're watching me then please give me the strength and courage to confess.]
I got out of bed slowly and checked the time, I guess I got up early. Getting my school stuff together, I set them down by the front door and started making breakfast. Once I was done with the food, I ate and put my shoes on to go for a walk making sure to leave a note for Savio.
[I love Savio, but he wouldn't say he feels the same if I confessed.]
I thought sadly, as I made my way to the abandoned park where I buried my parents' ashes, underneath their favorite tree.
"I miss you Mom... I need your advice. I've found love, but I'm scared to confess. He's rejected every girl that's come his way, and he's my only friend. I don't want to lose our friendship, but I want to be more than friends with him. What should I do, please tell me mom."
I cried as I fell to my knees in front of the tree, letting my tears fall freely.
"Dad... I know we never really got along that well, but how did you do it? How did you manage to bottle up all of your emotions after Mom's death? You never showed any emotions after she died, even when you were alone."
I asked knowing that I wasn't going to get an answer, as I wiped my tears.
"Mom, Dad... Do you think I should confess to Savio? Do you think he feels the same way I did? Would he even accept my confession?"
I asked as I looked up at the cloudy sky above, suddenly feeling a pair of arms wrapped around me.
"You should, I do and I would."
Savio's voice whispered softly in my ear, causing me to jump and my face to heat up as I turned around to face him.
"S-Savio? Y-you heard me?"
I stuttered, hiding my face in his shirt.
"Yeah and I'm glad it was me that you've fallen for, because I feel the same way for you."
He answered softly, hugging me tighter. I frowned, backing away and looking at the ground.
"Why though? I'm just a piece of non-recyclable trash that's left on the sidewalk, a useless piece of junk."
I stated honestly, not expecting Savio to rest his hand on my cheek to make me look at him.
"As a law abiding citizen, it's my duty to take out the trash. So Hope, may I take you out on a date today since school was cancelled?"
Savio stated seriously, making me giggle and nod. He then grabbed me by my hand and lead me out of the park, taking me home to change out of my uniform.
(Time~Skip)
"What kind of date are we having?"
I asked curiously, as I came back down the stairs to the living room and put on a pair of high tops. I had chosen to wear a pair of ripped skinny jeans and black tank top, with an oversized hoodie over it.
"We're having lunch, then we're going to see a movie."
Savio answered, as he turned to look at me. My face heating up rapidly, as he eyed my outfit carefully.
"Cute..."
I heard him mutter before he looked away, realizing that he was staring. I took the chance to actually see why he was wearing, only for my face to heat up even more as I realized we were wearing similar outfits.
(Time~Skip)
"Did you enjoy the date Hope?"
Savio asked me, as we walked home on the poorly lit sidewalk. Nodding as I replayed the movie in my head, holding his hand tightly. As if he were to try pulling away, and leave me behind.
[What are we? Are we friends or boyfriend and girlfriend? What does he want us to be? Am I overthinking this?]
I opened my mouth to ask, but the words never came out. Shutting my mouth again, I lowered my head wishing that I could confess properly.
"You can still confess to me tomorrow, I'll accept it and we'll start dating officially. Since you technically haven't confessed to me yet, I just over heard you talking."
He told me, as if he knew what I was thinking. My face heated up, as I nodded and tightened my grip on his hand.
"Wanna order a pizza for dinner?"
Savio asked me as we walked into my house, I just nodded and went to my computer to order our pizza on the Onimod's website. We play racing games until our food arrived at my door, Savio being the one who brought the pizza in and paid for it. Falling asleep right after eating.
