It didn't take long for Bea to fall asleep, but when she woke up she felt even worse than before. She was still exhausted and even though her energy had recharged partly, she couldn't reach it. Her power was keeping it away from here even when she desperately needed it. Still half asleep she walked over to the kitchen and made a bowl of cereal, which she ate as she did her freelance work. She felt sick, but no work, meant no money, which meant being homeless, so she didn't have much of a choice. She only then noticed the card that the demon from the night before had left behind. She twirled the little thing around in between her fingers, not sure if she should go visit him today.
Pfft. Like she could ever respect him after...He didn't like his work. He didn't like it at all. But him kept him fed and healthy, plus, customers were happy. He dressed in his slutty attire at the nightclub and fixed his hair. He covered the scars on his face with makeup and finally headed out for his appointments. Stupid customer sessions. What else could he do? He sat on the bed and let his next meal come to him. He could take a little from each human which kept them alive. Then, at the end of the day, he was subdued.
Even after her day of staring at her computer screen, she couldn't stop thinking about the demon from the day before and she knew she wouldn't stop until she saw him again, she needed answers. Her powers were still all over the place and she didn't know if it was rejecting her, or staying away from her on purpose. Sadly enough she needed it's powers to stay healthy and alive, but right now she felt like neither. She put on some comfortable clothing, nothing revealing because she remembered the warning he had given her. She didn't want to be seen like one of the employees at that place. She barely felt comfortable to be touched by her new friend, let alone strangers that wouldn't be safe from her touch.
When she arrived at the club she looked like a lost child, who didn't belong there, but nonetheless she still went in and headed for the bar. "I'm looking for Oreo?" She asked the bartender, her gaze on the floor as she nervously tapped her feet on the wooden boards.
She didn't belong there. It was loud and warm inside with neon lights and a lot of drug addicts- probably. There were many slutty looking people and many humans just trying to find some temporary fix to their desperate loneliness. The bartender stared the girl down. "Are you the 4:00?" He asked solemnly, working towards cleaning glasses and fixing drinks. "If so, Oreo is in the second room to the left. He just got done with some tougher looking guy..." He spoke, nodding towards the hallway. Then serving her a drink. "It's on the house, he might need it. It's water."
Bea knew she should have said no to the bartender's question, but still she found herself nodding her head. "Y-yes I am." She answered quickly before she took the drink from him and walked towards the room. The water she had gotten, she threw into one of the plants she passed and the glass she left on a shelf when she was out of sight.
Softly she knocked on the door and hoped that the demon would open soon, because she didn't want to have to talk to any of the other people walking around in the bar, they looked like people who were in a whole different lifestyle. So she stuffed her hands in sleeves and kept her head down as she tried to stay calm.He didn't answer for a long time. The door was unlocked oddly enough. Maybe he wasn't in there? Orin was actually exhausted, he felt better but the man wasn't any fun. He hurt. Quite a bit honestly. Then they all just stuffed money in a jar and left him alone after taking it all. Which wasn't the greatest thing. It was actually very gross...That's why Orin hated it. No human actually cared for what happened after in these places. They could care less if their lover was looked after. "Come in..." He groaned from inside after getting some sense in his sleepy state. He sat up slowly and pulled the sheets over the lower half of his body. Then relaxed back once more. Barely awake.
