☺H☺PPY PILLS☺(Allister x Depressed! reader)

"I'm looking for something to make me happy. "
"Why not try happy pills?"
"Alright. I'll take three packs."
" Here you go. Just... Don't overdose... "
"Why? There's no reason not to.."
" Ma'am! I'm sure there are plenty of reasons! Think about your family-"
"My family is dead. I'm sure they wouldn't stop me anyways."

I quickly swallowed a pill before knocking on the door. A year had passed since I started taking happy pills. My boyfriend, Allister, had never noticed, or at least i thought. Allister had seen me take some happy pills once or twice, but never thought anything of it. Anyways, he called me to meet him at his house because he wanted to talk to me about something. After a few seconds, Allister opened the door. "(y-y/n), we n-need to t-talk..." He grabbed my arm, pulling me inside before slamming the door shut and locking it. Allister sat me down on the couch and hugged me. Taking off his mask, I could see tears streaming down his pale face.

"What h-have you been t-taking..?" My eyes widened. " I saw you taking those pills. Are those prescription!? DO YOU NEED TO TAKE THOSE!?!? "I shrunk into the couch, avoiding eye contact. "Yeah, I knew! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!?!? I-" Allister stopped, his tears flooding like Hydro Pump. I was emmediately hit by a pang of guilt. I never thought he noticed. I never thought about how it would affect him... I stood up, Allister turning away from me. I tried to hug him, but he moved from my reach and ran to his room, crying softly.

I fell to my knees. How could I have been so stupid? I should have stopped taking those stupid pills when I agreed to be Allister's girlfriend! I messed up, now I had to pay the price. I unlocked the front door, running outside to find the nearest cliff.

~Allister POV~

I heard the front door open. Confused, I ran to see (y/n) running off. I decided to follow her. I couldn't trust her leaving my sight now. When she finally stopped, I stared in horror. She stood on the edge of a cliff, talking to herself. I couldn't hear what she was saying, but I ran as fast as I could to stop her.

~(Y/n) POV~

I was about to fall forward when I heard footsteps coming toward me. I turned, but slipped before I could see who it was and I fell over the cliff. I heard Allister scream my name before his head popped out from the side of the cliff. The cliff gave away and Allister started falling too. I grabbed him, pulling him into my arms as he cried. I was ready to take the impact for the two of us when someone came around the side of the cliff on a Pokémon and  caught  us before we hit the ground. "What were you two doing up there!?!? You guys could have been killed!!!" Leon yelled at us over his shoulder. Allister hugged me, not giving any sign of letting go any time soon. "I love you (y/n)!I love you! Please, never do something like that again!" I took the bottle of happy pills and threw them as far as I could. "I love you too Allister! Nothing can change that!"
