You were sitting on a chair in the control room reading to yourself. The ship just so happen to have a nice plethora of books laying around, so you thought on taking a look. You weren't really going anywhere anytime soon. The book you were reading was about aquatic anatomy. It showed basic pictures of Jellies, Whales and other creatures that would roam coral reefs and the deep. The Anglers and Jellies kinda reminded you of her; the Hunter. Others may not find her beautiful, however, you saw something else. It's been almost two weeks since you've found yourself on board the Hisa Maru and you two have really gotten to know each other.
It was sorta on accident but it lead to some wondrous adventures between you two. After making a small truce, one thing lead to another and some things happened that others would've found gross. She knew what she was doing and you did too. But, very soon after, she was wanting more. Wanting more of you sooner than later. Not that you were complaining much, you enjoyed the fun too. She is quiet a silly girl. Either way, right now was your break time. You were enjoying the faint sound of the ocean clashing against the ship and the small rumble of the engine.
You read for a couple more minutes before you decided to retire early for the night. You went to the upper decks and into your room. You both shared it and it became like a bedroom for the two of you. When you peaked in, you saw she wasn't there. Usually she's there sleeping early. Earlier than you. You then felt a quick tap on your shoulder. You turned around and it was her. She jumped up and wrapped her arms around your neck, giving you a kiss on the lips. You noticed that she was more excited than usual, even for a time like this. "You're still up?" You questioned. She gave a nod and gently grabbed your hand, giving it a small tug. "You want to show me something?" You asked. She nodded again and tugged even more. You started walking into the direction she was going, still holding your hand.
After a couple minutes of going down creaking hallways and cold stairs, you both reached the cargo hold. 'What is she trying to show me down here?' You thought to yourself. She continued to lead you through the crates. Then she stopped. She went behind you and covered your eyes. The Hunter then nudged you forward. You could kinda see through her hands but you knew what she was trying to do. She moved you to the front of a open crate. She removed her hands, revealing a cute setup of plates and silverware, pillows and cozy blankets, Christmas lights and a radio. You didn't know how she managed to make the lights work and where to find the plates but nevertheless this warmed your heart. You could also see a little cooler in the corner, guessing that it's probably food. You turned to her, seeing that she was trying to give a big smile. "Did . . . did you do this for me?" You asked. She gave a quick nod and tried to smile again. "Oh, love . . ." You hugged her close and gave a big peck on her forehead, which made her start making small chirps. She signaled you to go sit on the blankets. After you sat down, she closed the crate doors and went over to you, sitting down as well.
The Hunter wrapped herself around your arm and begun to nuzzle your neck. "Thank you so much for this . . . it means a lot." You said smiling, putting your hand up against her face. You could tell that what you said warmed her heart too. She perked up suddenly and crawled over to the cooler. She quickly grabbed the handle with her mouth and crawled back over, placing it in front of you, clearly wanting you to open it. You didn't mind the slime that was now dripping from the handle, you were already fairly used to it. You opened the cooler and there was two wrapped slices of apple pie. You both already ate some dinner an hour ago, so, why not desert? "How did you find this?" You said, slightly chuckling. She motioned her head side to side, probably trying to say that she just simply found it. You took both of the slices out and unwrapped them. You place one each on a plate and then handed her one. You then grabbed a fork and right when you were about to hand it to her, you saw that she already ate the slice of pie.
