~~Okay, wasn't sure if I should do a Preface similar to what KotLC has, but usually that requires knowing what'll happen later in the book, and I have no idea where this is going, so maybe I'll add one later...~~

Chloe stood in a small clearing in the middle of a dense forest, bow in hand. It was quiet, silent even, save for the birds and small animals rustling in the undergrowth, and the camp not far off, still being set up.

The Hunters had been walking for three days now, following a small stream until it turned into a rushing river, ending at a dark blue lake surrounded by trees. Now that they were camping for the night, a dozen or so silver, canopied tents were scattered in a larger clearing near the lake, with campfires filling the night air with the familiar scent of smoke.

As the lieutenant of the Hunters of Artemis, Chloe had been leading the Hunters all day and had finally found a chance to take a second away from the group, relishing the quiet before walking back towards the camp.

She worked her way between the tents and fires and groups of girls, heading for her own tent, when a little girl, probably only nine or ten, came racing towards her.

There weren't many Hunters that young, but Chloe realized she wasn't a Hunter as the girl ran over, her auburn hair bouncing in its messy ponytail.

"Chloe Thorne?" she asked, out of breath. When Chloe nodded, she said, "You need to come to Camp Half-Blood. Quick."

When Chloe started to question her, she hurriedly said, "No time to explain. They need you. Now."

Chloe sighed, jogging over to the tent seated next to hers. Sitting outside of it around a campfire was a tall, slim girl with long brown hair pulled into a neat ponytail.

"Grace, I need you to take over, I'm needed at Camp Half-Blood," Chloe said, grabbing her still packed bag which sat right outside of her tent.

Knowing better than to question her, Grace nodded, standing up. "Will do," she said simply before walking off to do who knows what.

Chloe hoped all would work out as she followed the little girl towards the lake.

A loud conch horn sounded and a group of demigods ran towards the woods, where seven figures stood, trying to take in their surroundings. They were all looked like models and were dressed in tunics and jerkins and long black capes, and were partially hidden by the shadows of the trees around them.

The group of demigods ran forward, pulling out weapons--anything from a trident to a throwing knife. They were dressed in bright orange t-shirts and mix-matched armor but looked confident as they ran towards the group.

"Who are you?" one of the demigods demanded. She had honey-blond hair pulled into a ponytail, looking at the strangers with hard steel eyes.

After lots of staring at one another, one of those strangers stepped forward, causing lots of raising of weapons from the demigods. The girl, who was also blond, with brown eyes instead of grey, said, with only a slight shake in her voice, "I'm Sophie, and this is Fitz, Keefe, Biana, Dex,  Tam, and Linh."

She pointed to the others as she said their names before turning back to the other blond. "And who are you?"

"I... I'm Annabeth," she said, cautious with giving out any information to the group of strangers.

Next to Annabeth was a boy with black hair and sea-green eyes who watched the group of newcomers very carefully as he uncapped his pen, which then grew into a sword.

When he saw their surprise, he said, "I'm Percy. This will probably sound strange, but... you're all demigods, children of a mortal and a Greek god."

Sophie shared a look with her friends before deciding to play along. She needed these so-called "demigods" to believe she was one of them. Before being sent to the camp, the Collective had told her and her friends all about Greek mythology so they could sell their story.

"We know. We were claimed a few days ago," Keefe said, lying perfectly.

"You were?" Percy asked, looking relieved he wouldn't have to explain the complicated mess of their relation to a Greek god.

Keefe nodded. They had already worked out who their supposed godly parents were, so one at a time they told Annabeth and Percy.

Linh as a daughter of Poseidon, Tam as a son of Hades, Dex as a son of Hephaestus, Keefe as a son of Aphrodite, Biana as a daughter of Apollo, and Sophie and Fitz as children of Hermes.

Annabeth and Percy looked at each other before looking back at the group and walking back towards the camp, the elves following behind, ready to start this next challenge.

Oookay... well, I wrote this at 2 in the morning, so...

Addressing the GPs for the elves: The plan was for them to blend in with the demigods, so they had to claim to be children of gods that would be able to give them the abilities they had. Tam and Linh were self-explanatory, Hephaestus is the god of forgery/machinery/mechanics, so it worked for Dex. The others were a bit more complicated since their abilities weren't really seen in any of the major gods (+ hades)
So, lots of Googling later:
Apollo kids may be able to control light so as to make themselves invisible
Aphrodite kids can feel the emotions of other people
Hermes kids may or may not be able to be telepaths (probably not) but they can learn languages incredibly fast (like Polygots) and may be able to teleport (also probably not but in general it fit the best for Sophie)
Still not sure if I'm going to have Fitz be in Hermes, but I'm still thinking...

FYI I am 100% Sophitz so I'm probably going to move Fitz later 'cause half-siblings liking each other is weird XD

Any ideas or suggestions or anything is gladly appreciated, as are votes or whatever XD

Aaaaand my long outro got me past 1000 words! Yay! XD
