Okay, so just a quick clarification, this takes place right after HoO, and ToA isn't happening.
I do ship Solangelo, so if that causes a problem for anyone... sorry ig XD
Also, for the KotLC part, it takes place right after Neverseen, but Keefe did NOT go to join the Neverseen :)
Something was off.
Chloe knew it when she met the seven new demigods, and it seemed like Percy and Annabeth knew it too.
Chiron kept telling Chloe, Percy, and Annabeth that they were just normal demigods, and he seemed to know more about them than he let on.
Apparently, for some unknown reason, Chiron wanted Chloe, the Seven, and Nico to personally train the newcomers. Chiron never did this, rather having the older demigods teach whole classes.
Nonetheless, the next day they all stood on the beach of Long Island Sound. Percy stood in the water with Linh, and he was showing her some sort of water tricks, and Nico, Hazel, and Tam stood in the shade of a boulder farther up the beach. Leo, Annabeth, and Dex were sitting in the sand, messing with some sort of gadget which they had taken apart, and Leo was watching in awe as Dex put it back together, explaining all of the mechanics behind it, and Annabeth watched him curiously. Jason, Piper, and Keefe all held swords and Jason was showing Keefe the right stances to take. Frank stood with a bow in hand, knocked and pulled back to shoot a wooden arrow at a nearby tree, showing Biana archery. On the tree was a red, blue, and yellow target, and Frank hit just inside the bullseye. Chloe--a daughter of Hermes-- was teaching Sophie and Fitz how to wield a sword. She pulled out her bow and hit the center of the bullseye, grinning at Biana before turning back to help Sophie and Fitz.
Lots of things were going on at the same time, and there were at least a few times when Linh and Percy would splash Tam and Nico, or Chloe and Frank would try to out archer each other or Dex would throw some sort of gadget towards one of the groups, claiming he was just testing his smoke bombs and whatnot.
The demigods could tell that Sophie and her friends were powerful, and despite what Chiron said, they were still skeptical about the group. As Frank showed Biana archery, she kept blinking in and out of sight, though she claimed she was just well-practiced in controlling light, which made some sense since her father was Apollo.
But other things didn't add up, and the demigods were determined to figure out what it was.

The next morning, sitting on a bunk bed in the Hermes cabin, Fitz downed two of Dex's newest elixirs, and his hair lightened to a dirty blond and his eyes went from teal to an amber similar to Sophie's.
Dex had made the elixirs to help the elves blend in because normally Fitz looked too much like Biana, it would've been obvious that they were siblings.
Biana kept her bright teal eyes, but she took an elixir like Fitz's, turning her hair honey blond to blend in with all of the blond Apollo kids.
Linh also took a few elixirs, which made her look less like Tam and more like Percy, with sea-green eyes and none of the silver streaks she and Tam usually had in their hair.
After drinking the elixirs, Fitz reached out telepathically to Sophie, who's bunk bed was next to his, in the corner of the cabin.
Ready for more training? he asked, stretching his sore arms.
Not in the slightest. Sophie responded, sighing.
It'll be worth it. Next time the Neverseen attack, we'll be ready.
I hope so...
The two decided to get ready for training, changing into jean shorts and orange CHB tees, which Chiron had given them the night before.
Sophie tried not to blush when she saw Fitz, though it was strange seeing him without his beautiful teal eyes and dark hair.
They walked out of the cabin, and a surprising amount of campers were already awake, despite the sun was just above the horizon still.
Sophie and Fitz sat on the beach, looking out at the ocean.
"Isn't it weird?" Fitz asked, looking over at Sophie. "We're not in the Lost Cities anymore. I know you lived in the Forbidden cities most of your life, and I spent a lot of time here too, but... it's still weird to think we're not in the Lost Cities anymore... this place is nothing like I've ever seen."
Sophie nodded, looking around at her surroundings. Twenty cabins were lined up in the middle of the camp, and a dining pavilion stood in all of its Greecian glory not far from the cabins, it's offwhite columns reminding Sophie of the pictures she'd seen of Greece's temples and other architecture. There was a stable on the opposite side of the Dining Pavilion with the cabins making a line between the two, and Sophie could hear horses whinnying from where she sat. There was a tall rock wall not far from the beach, which seemed to have lava coming from the top, and Sophie shuddered, remembering the searing heat of Fintan's hands...
Sophie started to reply when she was interrupted by a voice behind her saying, "Aw, Foster, you having a party without me?"
Keefe walked over and sat on Sophie's other side, grinning.
Sophie sighed but was spared having to answer by the rest of the elves and demigods coming over.
All of the demigods were smiling and looking generally excited when Percy said to the elves, "It's Friday, and you all get to play Capture the Flag."

Sorry for short chapters, but it seemed like a good place to stop, so...
I think I'm going to have Fitz stay in Hermes, seems like a good mini conflict for them to not be able to like each other while they're here, so yeah...
Looking for a bunch of characters for playing Capture the Flag so if anyone has an OC they want in the story, I'll give credit to everyone who gives a character and they can play CtF with the elves, the seven, Nico, and Chloe
To answer a question no one has asked, I made Chloe myself for future plot ideas, she is not canon, but you'll see her plot later >:D
