(Three days later)
Helenia PoV:
Three days already passed and our goddess still hasn't returned. Right now I was walking through the masses of people around the arena looking at some of the stands that had been set up. Those where set up because of the Monsterphilia which is an event that happens once a year.
If I picked it up right adventurers tame monsters that were caught in the dungeon. This happened in the arena not too far from here. Bell and I originally wanted to head into the dungeon today but on our way we were stopped by one of the waitresses of the Hostess.
She asked Bell to bring Syr her wallet which she had forgotten and since both Bell and I where both new to Orario she told us about the Monsterphilia. After that Bell and I split up with him searching for Syr while I was just wandering around.
Right now I was a bit happy that I was pretty eye catching and probably a bit intimidating too because the people went out of my way so I didn't have any problems at all with moving around. Suddenly I heard screaming. "MONSTERS!"
It was coming from behind me and as I turned around I was greeted by panicking masses rushing my way...or probably away from the monsters. Pulling out my sword and shield I did the exact opposite: I stormed the way the monsters where coming from.
Arriving there I saw some adventurers, probably level one, surrounding a monster. "It's shell is too hard!", "How could this Hard Armored escape?!" where some of the things the adventurers were shouting and one thing I could see was...they didn't stand a chance.
All their attacks where bouncing off it's shell and the monster, seemingly called Hard Armored, didn't seem fazed at all. But seconds later it seemed like it had enough. It started to reach back with it's tail, ready to swing it at the adventurers. Deciding to step in I rushed forward and that happened right on time too because I could block the attack which would have hit one of the adventurers and killed him.
Having deflected that attack I went on the offensive. Rushing at the monster I surprised because I was way to fast for it to realize my attack. Seconds later its head fell to the floor after my sword cut through its neck as if it was nothing.
Then I turned to the adventurers . "Go after the civilians and protect them! I can hear more monsters coming and will hold them off but if some of them get past me you have to kill them got it!" All of them nodded and ran the way the civilians went. Turning around I saw a pretty huge mass of monsters heading my way and most of them were some I had never seen before.
"I hope you're alright Bell..." steeling my nerves I rushed at the monsters. "LET'S DANCE!" Reaching them I went into some sort of...frenzy I would say. I completely went on offense not thinking about shielding myself from the attacks which came from the monsters. I even stored my shield away and pulled out the dark sword.
