She laughed slightly, wondering why he had called her instead. She heard shifting on the other side and Donghyuck cleared his throat.
"You said there were sketchy people so...just stay on call till you get home I guess."
Yerin bit back a smile and she tried to conceal the happiness through her voice.
"Is Lee Donghyuck worried about me?"
She teased, laughing slightly and pulling her coat closer to herself.
"No I don't!" He scowled, muttering something under his breath. "Anyway, where did you and the guys go?"
"We went to the mall and then they ran off so I just came home."
"It's pretty late and dark outside are you sure you're okay to come alone."
The concern flowed through his voice and Yerin's heart warmed at the sound of his voice more serious than cocky and teasing.
"I'm sure I'll be okay- shit."
"What happened?"
"Ugh, nothing I was meant to go grocery shopping and I walked past the store ages ago."
She whined, stopping in the middle of the street to look back, the darkness not allowing her to see past the houses.
"Why don't you go tomorrow?"

"Uh..." Donghyuck trailed off, looking around his room for any traces of his family. "You can like...come to my house- my Mum made some food not long ago." He rushed out.

"Just be quick, the food will get cold."
