"What the hell..." Jeno commented, his eyes wide at the direction of the doors and everyone turned around to see Sora clinging onto Donghyuck's arm.
"Oh." Yerin said, the wind knocked out of her lungs.
Of course he liked Sora. She was pretty, smart- Yerin was nothing compared to her.
"What's he doing with her?" Renjun asked with narrowed eyes. They watched as Donghyuck shrugged her arm off of him before turning to order his food.
Yerin looked away, feeling the lump in her throat rise until she wanted to cry. She felt stupid, stupid for thinking Donghyuck even had feelings for her. Jisung reached over and placed a hand on Yerin's arm to comfort her.
The girl bit her lip, wanting to cry out as the embarrassment set in.
"Hey guys."
Yerin didn't reply, she didn't even look at him as he sat on the end of the table- furthest from her. "Hey." Chenle greeted, turning back to Li-Wei.
All the boys began to converse with their girls they were interested in, Yerin and Donghyuck singled out from opposite ends of the table. He played around with his food, head down and Yerin watched him with a heavy heart.
His head snapped up and their eyes joined. They both held eye contact, a flash of pain stroked past her eyes and Donghyuck looked away.
"Hey."
Donghyuck looked up at the voice, Sora had her fingers trailing on his arm and Yerin's eyes zeroed in on it- heart thundering.
Donghyuck's own eyes fell to his arm and he went to move it but the girl had placed herself in his lap- shocking them all.
Yerin watched with a broken, heavy heart and she felt as though the whole world was laughing at her for being so stupid.
"Sora i-" Donghyuck began and Sora glanced at Yerin before turning her head- grabbing Donghyuck's face to smash her lips against his.
Yerin's eyes widened and her fists clenched. Of course he liked her.
Her breath hitched, bottom lip quivering as she stood up abruptly. Donghyuck pushed Sora off of him, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand- eyes falling to Yerin who had already began running out of the room.
And he didn't hesitate to follow her.
