Yerin's eyes fell to Donghyuck's retreating figure and she didn't even hesitate to follow him.
He was quite fast on his feet, rushing to get away but she didn't want him to be alone. "Donghyuck!" She yelled out, making him turn around briefly, teary eyed and Yerin's breath hitched, running over and pulling him into an empty room.
She closed the door behind her and instantly wrapped her arms around his neck, bringing his face to her neck. "It's okay, you can cry." She whispered, running her hand through his hair gently and she felt the material of her shirt dampen before the first wave of cries fell from his lips.
"I feel g-guilty." Donghyuck said through his crying, clutching the girl closer as his body shook with sadness. "Why pumpkin?" She cooed softly, continuing to run her fingers through his locks.
"Because I don't- I don't love her anymore!" He sobbed, his pain ridden cries breaking her heart and she bit her lip to stop herself from getting emotional.
"Hey Donghyuck, it's okay. It's okay not to love someone anymore, even if she isn't here...you aren't compelled to still love her." She began and Donghyuck's nose brushed against her neck.
"She told me to move on," he whispered out, a few bitter tears falling down his face. "But she killed herself because of me."
"Donghyuck-" "She said that I was too much to handle, I was weighing her down and she couldn't take it-" "It isn't your fault." She cut him off, begining to get mad and Donghyuck shook his head.
"It is, I was such a burden on her-" "Lee Donghyuck." She said, pulling away from him and grasping his cheeks in her palms.
"You are not a burden, heck you're far from it. What kind of girlfriend would guilt trip you into thinking it was your fault when she could have easily broken up with you if she truly thought that way. I understand the pain you're feeling and I want you to know that your feelings are valid- I care. You're such an amazing person Hyuck-"
Donghyuck leant forward and wasn't thinking when his lips cut her off.
