So I sat up to talk to Mrs Smith, getting to know each other I even  forgot that I was sitting on the hospital bed, I can now see why she was my mother's bestfriend she even told  me a bit about  herself and that she is orginally from Mexico, you can even hear her accent when she speaks  English , she told me about Mexico and their  traditions. It felt good to  be able  to talk to someone  who knew who I was and who my parents  were. She even  brought a social worker who I could talk to  me as I was grieving for my parents, I'm very  grateful for a godmother like Jocelyn Smith. She told me that she had all parental rights and responsibility to me and she has adopted me into her family  I hope she didn't do that out of pity. We even  talked  about my parents funeral, where  they should be buried how they should be buried and when. I wish this was all a bad dream but  it's reality and  I have to expect  what happened and move on, I know it's not going to be easy but  I still have to try.

JOCELYN POINT OF VIEW:

I can't believe my bestfriend Anna is gone, I never thought I would be burying my beloved bestfriend.  I looked  at Annie  sleeping peacefully, she looked so much like Anna, she had Anna's curly brown hair, ocean Blue eyes and rosey red lips. Annie  is a brave, Beautiful young lady she has gone  through alot but still manages to smile. I can't imagine how much she misses her parents, I honestly feel honoured that her mother chose me to be her guardian, I know she is going to fit in with  the boys. I have finally  finished  making  all the arrangements for the funeral, it felt  so surreal,my bestfriend who I loved  like  a sister is gone and I can't  do anything to bring  her back. A blonde  nurse came in to call me saying  that the doctor needs to see me, I got up hurried to his office, found   him staring at the blood  tests, he told  me that  Annie  is going to be released tomorrow and that I shouldn't worry about anything, everything will  be okay. I felt so relieved like  a huge weight  has be lifted off my shoulders, I honestly  can't wait to share the news  with  Annie, I hope  she is as excited  as I am. I rushed back to her room  to  find  her sitting  up and watching  television from the small television screen . Annie  I have amazing  news for you, the doctor said  you  are going  to be discharged tomorrow, isn't that amazing news I said  in a high pitched voice,  yes it is amazing thank you  Mrs Smith she said sounding exhausted. Annie  there's  no need  to  be formal  you can call me  Jo or Jocelyn anything  you want  expect for Mrs Smith  we are family I said  giving  her a big hug.
