We all ran down the hallway from the battle droids that were coming out from the end of the hallway as we were dodging blaster bolts, attempting to find a way out. A bolt zoomed past my helmet as the sparks flew by and almost blinded me. I noticed another corridor up ahead as we ran down. I signaled Dixter to ready the thermal detonators, setting a trap up ahead for the incoming squad.

"DIXTER, NOW!" I said yelling.

Dixter quickly took out his backpack and pulled out three thermal detonators, he signaled us to run back away from the blast. Dixter waited for the correct exact moment and rolled the thermal detonators to the droid squad. One of the battle droids picked up a thermal detonator shaking it.

"What is-" The thermal detonator exploded in the droids face as its parts flew everywhere along with the other battle droids before it could finish its sentence.

"HAHA! THAT'LL SHOW 'EM!" Dixter yelled.

"Nice work, Dixter." I said.

"C'mon, we need to get a move on before another squad comes by!" Sparky said. We all nodded our heads and sprinted down the corridor looking for the important package that we came for. As we got to the end of the hallway, I saw another squad of droids patrolling. I lifted my fist signaling my squad to hold its position, not making a single noise as they walked past. Suddenly, I saw four Magna Guards walking down with the squad as well, holding my own squad members Xeno, Thirty-Ninety, and Duple as they were all being dragged on the floor unconscious. I held my breath so I wouldn't scream attempting to save them and try to get me and my whole squad killed. Finally, the entire squad walked past us as we were unnoticed, I peaked out the corner seeing the last droid turn to the next hallway.

I sighed, looking down on the floor disappointed and stressed. "How did they get themselves captured? I thought everything was going fine." I said.

"I don't know Sharp..." Sparky said.

"What about the mission?" Brek said.

I looked at Brek then looked back at the other hallway the droids went. I knew we had an extreme important mission that could turn the tide of this battle allowing the Republic to gain another win. But...I knew I also couldn't turn on my own squad mates as well, even though it was for the Republic. I had only two options that could change the entire course of this mission. Option one, we decide to hold off on the package and rescue Zeta Squad hopefully getting them in time before they are either severely tortured or shot dead. Or option two, we ditch Zeta Squad and retrieve the package possibly even making ourselves dead as well but still had a 50/50 chance. Two options, one mission.

"I hate being in charge." I sighed.

"I could always take the job." Sparky said sarcastically.

"Shut up, Sparky." I said.

"Well, Sharp. What's it gonna be?" Dixter said.

I then reflected back on what Sergeant Immortal had told me before he died. "We are human beings, and we have the right to have individual thoughts." The thought zoomed through my mind as I then saw myself in that moment again crouching beside the dying Sergeant hearing his last words. At that exact moment, I knew what I had to do. I don't care if I get court marshaled or if I get shamed upon, we aren't some expendable droids!
