i stood there in silence, with the warmth of the fire embracing me. i watched how each spark fluttered in the air, slowly whispering away.one glance up and you could see the starry night accompanied by the moon, the trees looked like they were tingling the sky above. my eyes traced around, the old van, some friends sharing a conversation bewtween themselves, all surrounded by the burning of light, flickering.
there was pressure on my left arm as I look to see Noel snickering and leaning on me. my cheeks almost looked blistered, so red and hot. I grinned to not seem out of place, I never really did with him. everything fell into order, whether it was random or not. there was no error.
"you want a smore?" in front of me, he kneeled with a plate of browning mashmellows with biscuits. his eyes fluttered light despite the darkness of the night. he's curls that curtained his cheeks lifted as his smile broadened.
"yeah, thanks." i took a couple as he scooted next to me, in that very moment.
all time pause, but it kept in my heart.
