"it's no surprise," she scoffed. "to think i'll trust it." her beady eyes opened wide, with her mouth squinted and her nose puffed up.
"you're gonna be fine." he chuckled slightly, he slipped his hand in hers, with his thumb rubbing her frail skin. "look, i've got you.""trust me." he squeezed her hands, along with a cheesy grin across his face.
their feet tightened along the rocks, watching and listening to the clear waves the crash against their fate. the fears climbed the rocks and sniggered under their toes, making them feel uneasy.
"let's do it. on three. one, two." they lunged in the air, with their voices escaping their mouths in joyfulness. their hands still interlinked with it each other's.
their bodies swarmed in water while their souls are embraced. in the midst of the air bubbles surrounding them. he planted a watered kiss on her. with her hand on his cheeks.
all that ended when they floated to the surface.
"what the hell was that! we actually did it! what the actual f-" he exclaimed before she knocked him with another kiss."that's what you call a kiss." she bit her lip. "what the hell that?"
he looked bewildered, "what?" but with his glistening eyes, reflecting the crimsons on the water, she couldn't be mad.
"just never kiss me under water, again."
they crawled up to the caravan, springing through the californian breeze and the authentic species of greenery. she gripped her towel close to her skin, "wait, you're cold?" he questioned as he noticed her shivering as the wind passed.
before she could respond, he scoped her into his arms whilst beginning to run. the corners of her mouth creased as she laughed.
he watched her, her happiness. freedom, joy.they sat in the doorframe of the caravan, upon the woven mats. the towel wrapped around her, tugging it to her body, as she dug out the sand from between her toes.
he slipped a causal, worn-out maroon shirt on him. as he ruffled his bush and pulled it back into a bun.
"has anything occurred to you in your life, that makes you realise like wow?" she started the conversation with a unnatural question, she does it often. to look upon the other aspect of him. he enjoys these conversations, making him escape.
"no not really... there was a time, actually." he chuckled to himself in reminiscing of the memories. "well, it was when we met actually." he began. she cheesed, her excitement enhanced.
"when we went to ontario, with a group of mates. that night when we went out to that local bonfire, i wanted to talk to you again but i was obnoxious to think you had interest in me after we drifted." she raised an eyebrow with a weak smile, "it was funny how everyone left us to do the shopping then for the truck to break down." he voice broke in a sentimental form.
"and just waiting for the repair service to reach us. it was like we couldn't just sit there in silence, we had to talk. and that's where i was grateful, you know? desiring for something then having it in the most unexpected way." the reflected a smile to each other, her's slightly bigger.
"well, mine... i have no idea." she sniffled a laugh.
she knew exactly what she was doing, just hearing underrated convos from him, makes her squeeze from inside. it's interesting to her, what others think.
