Who I am

A new master

Opal opened the door to her room and laid in the bottom bunk, she and Ezra played a game to see who got the top bunk and Ezra won. She sighed as she hugged herself, she hated it when she cried infront of someone. It made her feel weak, she heard the door opened a few minutes later.

"Opal? Can I talk to you?" Kanan asked her, she stayed where she was as she used the force to move her lightsaber to his hands.

"You can keep that, i'm not worthy of it." She said as Kanan looked at the saber.

"I'm not gonna take the last thing you have of your mom." He said and set the saber next to her bag. "I can't take back why I yelled at you but I can change who your trained by. We got a transmition that a  Jedi master is still alive and would be a perfect teacher for you and Ezra" He said as she just looked at the wall ahead of her.

"Then we should start heading there." She said as she sat up. He sighed and got up as she looked at him.

"Get ready, were gonna need all your firepower." Kanan said and walked out, she walked towards the door and opened it. She walked out with her mask and saber, she sighed as she did.

"You okay?" Ezra asked her while looking at her with a worried look.

"Y-yeah." She said, Ezra gave her one last look before walking off. She opened her bag and pulled out her mask, she sighed. She pulled her hood down, puts her mask on and then the hood up. She walked to the control room and stood next to Ezra.

"Welcome to the Spire on Stygeon Prime, the only Imperial detainment facility in the Stygeon system." Sabine said as a hologram of a prison appeared. "And it's impregnable." Sabine said as she turned her head to Kanan.

"That's never stopped us before." Kanan said as he looked at the hologram, causing Sabine to chuckle.

"Trust me, we have never faced anything like this. It;s a real work of art." Sabine said as she faced the hologram again. "Blast proof, ray shielded, protected by anti-ship weapons, TIE fighters, short and long range scanners." She said while numbering them off with her fingers.

"So it's almost impossible to even get a close look." Opal said in her normal voice, Ezra glanced at her with a worried look but she didn't notice.

"We can fool the scanners." Hera said.

"Eh, maybe. But that just leaves an army of troopers and guard posts on all the walls." Sabine said while pointing at some spots on the prison. "Look, even if we get into this beauty, the hard part's getting out." Sabine said.

"Cause it's a prison." Opal shrugged.

"What about going in low and sneaking onto this landing platform?" Ezra asked while pointing at the spot the imperial prison ships would land.

"Mm-mmm. Platform has a heavy trooper presence and reinforced blast doors." Sabine disagreed, Opal looked at the hologram.

"What about the posts? If I was wanting to make sure nothing happened. I would section off the posts in thirds. One on top, another at the bottom and one in the middle." Opal said while pointing at all the spots of the prison. "in between the middle and bottom would be the weakest because most go for a high or very low attack. We take out the guards, enter the prison and go up to her prison cell." Opal said, then the hologram disappeared.

"That's a good one Opal!" Hera said, Opal nodded and walked back to her spot.

"To bad it might be the last one." She mumbled as she walked out, Ezra ran after her. He grabbed her arm when the door closed behind them.

"What do you mean 'the last one?" He asked her, she pulled her arm but and faced him.

"You heard Kanan, he's giving us to some random person we don't know and then we would have to leave them so they wouldn't capture all of at the same time." Opal said with her voice a bit raised which caught Ezra by surprise. "Just let me know when were going." She said and went inside there room. Ezra sighed, unaware that Kanan heard the whole thing.

"She'll get through it, she just needs time." Hera said.

"Yeah, but how much?" Kanan asked.

Time skip...

Everyone was in the phantom except for Chopper who was left on the ghost. The ride was bumpy but everyone remained calm.

"Thirty seconds. Good luck." Hera said once the prison was in sight.

"Luck? We're gonna need a miracle." Zeb grumbled as they all surrounded the exit.

"Here are three." Sabine said as she pulled out three bombs from her back pockets. Zeb and Ezra took one and admired them.

"Try to stay focused." Kanan said to the two kids.

"Thought there was no 'try" Ezra mocked Kanan, he told Ezra to do or do not and that there is no try. Kanan looked away, Ezra turned to Opal to see her reaction but it was nothing. The hatch opened and Kanan flipped onto the entrance and took out the troopers weapons. Ezra smiled at what Kanan was doing and attempted the same thing. Zeb noticed and tried to stop Ezra.

"Kid, wait! What are you doing?!" Zeb said, but Ezra already jumped out. Opal groaned as Kanan took out the last trooper. Ezra landed and rolled to the door and banged his head. He slowly backed away and then when Kanan started yelling at him, storm troopers came out of the door. Kanan pulled there weapons and tossed them.

"It's no or never!" Sabine said as she and Zeb jumped down, Opal never had jumped from such a height. She took a deep breath and jumped down next to Kanan.

"This is exactly why you two need Master Luminara to teach you discipline." Kanan said to them both.

"He was just following your example." Opal said.

"Yeah? Well, try to stay focused and follow the plan instead." Kanan said, Ezra felt guilty as Kanan walked off. Opal  touched his shoulder to he wasn't alone.

"I hate to interrupt, but we need the kid to unlock the door." Sabine said, Opal got out Ezra's lock picker and handed it to him.

"Thanks." He said as he started to pick the lock. Zeb picked up a trooper and set it agaisnt the wall so it looked like no one broke in. Ezra finally got the door open and they ran in. Kanan pushed  past Ezra as he walked off.

"You're welcome." Ezra said and then Zeb smacked his head.

"You did your job. You want a medal?" Zeb mocked, Ezra sighed when Zeb walked away.

"Luminara's here." Kanan said, Opal felt something familiar but it felt bad.

"You good?" Ezra asked her.

"Y-yeah, I just feel something familiar. In a bad way." She said while rubbing her arm.
