He wakes up the same way he fell asleep – with a big smile stretching his lips. Memories from last night keeps replaying in his mind, and each time he closes his eyes, all he sees are flashes of Singto.

He hears Boss puttering away in the kitchen, and checking the time on his phone, he realizes that he missed their scheduled Sunday morning jog. Before leaving the bed, he debates on whether or not to drop Singto a message, ultimately losing to the temptation and sending a cat meme to the other man. He doesn't wait for a reply, knowing how rare it is for the older man to have a Sunday off, and figuring that he is still sleeping.

He walks out of his room, whistling to a nameless tune and still unable to keep the smile off his face. He gets to the kitchen just in time to see his brother finish fixing up two breakfast plates, so he goes straight to the fridge to get the juice box out. When he turns back to the table, he is met with his brother's deadpan stare but when Boss spoke, the amusement was clear in his voice.

"Someone's entirely too happy today. I take it you had a fun night."

"Yes, thank you for asking. No, it wasn't like that, so kindly get your mind out of the gutter."

 

Aside from raising a disbelieving brow, his brother doesn't push the issue, so they finish their meal in relative silence. While they were cleaning up, Boss tells him that their mother called, asking when they will come for a visit. He winces in guilt, knowing he's somewhat neglected his parents as of late, with his busy work schedule and trying to fit in as much time with Singto as possible. He resolves to fix that, especially since the other man will be out of the country for most of next week.

After remembering about the older man's upcoming trip abroad, he becomes a little uneasy. He knows that it's for work, and he really has nothing to worry about when it comes to Krist, yet he can't help but wonder about Singto. They haven't talked about their situation, nor did they actually verbally acknowledged what was going on between them. They've been doing this whole back-and-forth game, dancing around each other, but not really confessing to anything. He has hopes that after yesterday's events, things will be much more clearer, but he still would like to prefer that they actually talk and clarify the status of their relationship.

He's sure that he wants the other man, and if the kiss last night was anything to go by, they're thankfully in the same page with Singto wanting him too.

However, more than the physical attraction, he needs to make it clear to the other man that he's in it for the whole deal. He just needs to hear that Singto wants a relationship with him, that the other is willing to give them a chance, to grant him a piece of his heart. He's not naïve, so he knows that the older man isn't entirely over Krist. He accepts that, and is willing to wait for the day that he'll be the only one owning his heart.
