[fourteen]

it's christmas eve and taeyong with his employees jaehyun, jungwoo, mark and donghyuck, all went to sicheng and yutas house, where they would have some fun after all the mess throughout work.

"why do you even let us work when it's almost a holiday?" donghyuck grunted, stomping on the car floor. thankfully, his boyfriend calmed him down and taeyong is relieved that he didn't hear a word anymore from mark's sunshine.

as they arrive, they could see some of jaehyun and jungwoo friends, including the youngest ones in the car. of course, he knew nobody, because in the past he never liked socialising with other people his age and now he regrets it.

they entered the house and started hugging each other and even slapped their backs. only taeyong rushed in to get food. he could see some familiar faces on the way, but neverminded them because there's no way it's his past friends. although doyoung seems to be here.

oh no.

"jaehyun, look there."

jaehyun smiled at his boss and obeyed him, and saw doyoung as well, so he had to whip his head towards the opposite side and used his hands to cover his eyes. "I don't wanna meet him." taeyong nodded, agreeing with the younger.

"but I have to tell him that I don't have feelings for him anymore."

jaehyun's heart skipped a beat.

he looked at doyoung, who is looking at the view on the foyer. "hey hyung." the older man looked at him, then sighed. "I'm sorry for leaving you like that. I should've told you earlier." doyoung managed to make his eyes water, and as he couldn't handle it anymore, he cried on jaehyun's chest. jaehyun couldn't do anything but rub his chest to calm him down. hearing only muffles from the older, jaehyun managed to hear at least a sentence that made him so relieved. "I forgive you." jaehyun hugged him tighter, feeling the vibrations from the cries, and rest his head into doyoung's head.

"what happened to him?"
"oh. hi hyung." jaehyun smiled at the oldest, as he walked towards the crying man. "hes fine I promise."

meanwhile, taeyong's still sitting next to jungwoo at the sofa in front of a large window. jungwoo, obviously is told to keep track to taeyong in case he goes away because he doesn't like interaction.

"I wonder what it's like in the foyer." taeyong sighed loudly as jungwoo talked with the other people in the house. then he looked up and saw jaehyun, standing right in front of him, his chest is wet. "why is your-"

"we'll talk later. how about you socialize with somebody?"
"I'd rather come to work."
"please? just this once?"
"fine."

work came the usual and jungwoo looks weird, but jaehyun shrugged it off because he knew his friend has a lot of mood swings. "hyung, you'll never guess who I met yesterday." jaehyuns eyes left the laptop and met his. jungwoo's eyes glittered like crazy. "did you meet lucas today?"

"how do you know?"
"I knew who he is, jungwoo. it's just that I never tell you. the reason why I was invited and you are too is because I requested it, and I knew that lover boy if yours is there."
"how?"
"I remember all the alumni because of all the data i kept."
"then would you-"
"yeah, I will. you're my best friend."

but never did jungwoo knew that the boy he met a few years ago that saved him, is actually the ceo of the entertainment doyoung worked in. of course, jungwoo didn't mind, but he knew that doyoung trusted him.
