[thirteen]

it's not a normal day for jaehyun, because he never felt so close to his dear boss ever. the older slept peacefully despite having to close his eyes in an uncomfortable position.

but wait.

didn't taeyong kiss him last night? is he going to be sick and not come to work and...

"so i don't have to go to work." jaehyun said to himself, slowly getting off the bed without trying to wake taeyong up and looked at his face in the mirror. he's still sick, but he not gonna is a while. he gets sick a lot but only a few days then he would come back to work healthy as usual. he took the medicine taeyong bought for him last night when it rained, and smiled when he saw a small note that says;

'come back to work please my legs are tired and trying to kill me'

jaehyun smiled as he read the paper and placed it on the counter in the bathroom. he does care.

but he then reminded himself of doyoung, who's probably single and free. maybe. he knew that doyoung is rarely busy so jaehyun felt bad for not taking him to places and eat together after they found each other after long years. doyoung may have been searching for him, even if it means taking a long time, but his energy is wasted and jaehyun found someone else.

jungwoo should know what doyoung felt then, because he sees them both a lot in the office, and now this.

taeyong is bothered at the sound of moving linens, that made him woke up.

he stretch his arms and legs, but felt no jaehyun presence. the older man looked up, then to the bed, realising that jaehyun went somewhere. his head kept on spinning like crazy, as if he spinned around in circles for a long time. deciding whether he should put his head back down in the pillow again, he lazily walked out of the room.

"hyung? are you awake?"
"no I'm sleepwalking." taeyong joked, it's pretty obvious that his boss I fully awake and aware. "oh." he replied. "I'm not going to work today, I'm sorry."

taeyong sighed in relief. that means he could spend time more with his little 'boyfriend'.

"anyways, would you like to eat something? you look tired. and sick. see? I told you that you should not kiss me when I am sick, you'll get it too!" jaehyun complained, puffing up his cheeks. taeyong chuckled at the way his employee acted, so cute he would squish his honey-like cheeks. "well, I'm sick now. that's bad."

"oh, like it is. you obviously wanted to stay here at my house so you would spend time with me right?"

hearing jaehyun's words, taeyong tried to find an excuse. "no I'm not! look at all that snow...wait...snow?" the two men looked at each other with shiny, exciting eyes as they stare out the window of the kitchen above the sink. "it's snowing!" both of them shouted happily.

"you two act like kids. cute."

as if they are twins, the move their bodies synchronized with each other, facing the man whos leaning on the kitchen island and shook his head. "I'm younger then both of you."

"donghyuck, you do not know how long I've been waiting for this. now I can go skating and slip on ice!" jaehyun, however, only wanted to stay at home and have a mini holiday, probably because the snow is too bad and high even for a man as tall as him. "I'd rather stay home and bake cookies."

donghyuck actually liked the snow. it reminded him of the time where he got lost in the building he worked at on the first day he worked, it was nearing christmas and ended up making out with a man whose sticking with him since the very beginning, mark lee. they even spend the night together because it's too cold.

"I'm actually here to invite you guys to eat together this christmas." donghyuck said as he gave both men a glance. "plus, there's hella ton of food that sicheng hyung made. yuta hyung brought an entire truck of flour and eggs because he's seen his boyfriend bake a lot these days." jaehyun laughed at the information, because he knows that his friend yuta really loves his boyfriend.

"I guess we can come..."
"....together."
"what?"

days gone by [my day fangirling activated] and jaehyun is still wondering what happened to his jungwoo. he used to be all fresh and happy, but now he looks kind of sad, even he doesn't do his hobby anymore, which is using almost half his work hours cheering everyone in the office and giving lots of love towards jaehyun as a friend.

"my dear friend jungwoo, whats up with you? still single?"
"what? why would I not be happy about that? being single is great."
"not really. remember when..."
"I know, I know! youve told me thousands of times about that story. don't remind me of anything in the past."

jaehyun's here to tell him anyway.

so jungwoo and jaehyun is still in highschool, thinking and working out a lot of problems for the exam coming in a few days.

"hyung...I don't think I can do this. it's too hard, plus all the problems look too hard to be in the exam."
"this will be the only time that I'm available, my friend."

jungwoo sighed and kept looking at the problems, reading them again and again.
after a few minutes, jungwoo threw the workbook to the nearest shelf, and you know how heavy it is when you hold that book. it weighs almost a ton, because it's almost 2000 pages plus the pages are super thick and heavy. the younger actually threw it right at the bottom of the shelf, and looking like a non-fiction, the shelf and its contents fell down; towards the table and chair the two boys sat on.

"what the jisoo, jungwoo?"

just before all the books starts hitting the two students, someone tall and muscular held the shelf, but some of the books fell down, but didn't hurt jungwoo. instead, jaehyun go his head hit by a history hard-covered book.

nevertheless, none of the objects didn't fall on them accept that one hard cover.

"jungwoo hyung? are you alright?"

and ever since then, jungwoo forgot the younger man that saved them-him, and hes still figuring out who he is and where he is right now.

"you find him someday."
"namjesus save me!"
"no cursing."
"how?"
"just like doyoung and me. only..."
"yeah you break up with him the moment you see someone else."

jaehyun's face turned red in embarssedment. "I don't! and stop hitting me im not an object."
