After cornation practice , I texted my bestfriend and her and Kam was headed to the mall shopping for clothes. Quint didn't even come to practice. I ain't seen his ass since lunch. I was pissed off because that bitch wasnt at practice niether. Cameryn coming through to pick me up. I was sitting on the bench when King and his bitch and her crew came out the school. I rolled my eyes.
" Awhhh boo-hoo. Little Miss Keyshia Cole sitting outside all alone waiting on a ride. " She said making everybody laugh except King.
" Babe! " King said looking at her.
" Yo King let me get my phone out yo locker. " His cousin Gerald said. Soon as he walked in the school , his bitch said some slick shit.
" Where Quintavious? Ohhhh yeah he left with Keri. Bitch your a nobody now. " She said. I walked over to her punching her with all my anger until her bitchx jumped in. Cameryn car pulled up and a gun shot off in the air. Cameryn fought one and her cousin Ry had the other but I was so angry , I slung this bitch head into the steps pole picking her up slanging her on the ground again.
" Yo King come get yo girl. Shawty boutta kill her. " I heard somebody yell.
" Stop! Let her go Keyshia. " King said. He broke it up and Cameryn was still smashing the girl into King car. Her brother pulled up and got out snatching her up with one hand. She still had a grip on the girl shirt punching her and his homeboy grabbed Ry. TreShaaud went and got the baby out the car and I was pulled by King.
" WHY YOU GRABBING ON THIS BITCH? " Brianna said walking up catching me off gaurd and punching me. I snatched her by her shirt and kicked her full force. Cameryn put me in the car and we drove to the mall. I fixed my hair on the way there and Quintavious called.
" What? " I said angry.
" The fuck you doing fighting? Where you at? " He said mad.
" Why you sound so angry? That bitch started with me. Im minding my own business and you say some slick shit. Ohh fuck no! " I said angry.
" Where you at? " He said.
" The mall. " I said getting out the car.
" The fuck you doing there? "
" So I cant come to the mall? I need your permission to go somewhere. " Cameryn went in the Journeys and I stopped looking at this nigga.
" Mann Keyshia you pissing me off. Its over bruh! Y-- " I heard that bitch cut him off.
" Baby let's go get matching outfits. " She said.
" You with that bitch? " I asked angry.
" No. " This nigga a lie.
" If you NOT then tell me why im looking dead at you. " I said hanging up the phone. I turned and some boy with all black stood right there.
" Is you Keyshia? " He asked.
" Why? " I asked backing up. He pulled out a gun and shot me in my stomach and chest and took off running. I fell on the ground and Cameryn grabbed me crying and hollering.
" No Keyshia. Come on wake up bestfriend. Help is on the way. " She said but my vision was getting blurry and I tried to keep my eyes open but everything went black. I still heard Cameryn crying and sirens then they started fading away.
Quintavious POV
I left school early with Keri. We was chillin at her house chillen and she kissed me and then we fucked. I hope she aint catch feelings because I did that with no feelings attached. I was taking her shopping when I saw a video of Keyshia getting jumped then her slanging some gul into the school steps. I grew angry at her then called her. We argued and Keri came up which she heard and she hung up in my face. I looked up at the mall window with her as she talked to another nigga. I looked at Keri and heard a gun shot. I turned around and she slid down the glass then fell. Her blood was on the window. Keri grabbed me and had a tight grip. I saw police running and the paramedics running with the bed stretcher. They placed her on it and took off running. I stood frozen the whole time. I just wanted to break down and cry. I heard Cameryn crying tryna get to Keyshia but TreShaaud hugged her tight. She pushed him away. Some girl had the baby. Her brother rushed in the mall with 7 other niggas. All of their face expressions showed they was angry. He picked up Cameryn and toated her out the mall like a baby. She wrapped her arms around him and laid her head down like a baby crying. TreShaaud got the baby and followed. I ran out the mall hopping in my car speeding home. My mama and daddy was sitting in the kitchen eating. I was breathing hard as tears fell.
" Son whats wrong? " Pops asked. I broke down crying with my head on my knees.
" Quint baby what happened? " Mom asked.
" My girl got shot! " I said crying hard. They both hugged me.
" Keyshia? K-Keyshia? Lord let me call Kristina. " Mom said getting the phone crying.
" Is everything alright? What they say? " Mom asked.
" Ohh god. Noo lord have mercy. Im finna come to the hospital. " She said grabbing her keys.
" What they say babe? " Pops asked.
" They say its not looking good. She lossed alot of blood. If it continue , they gone have to pull the plug. " She said.
We got to the hospital and Cameryn had passed out. Her son was crying for her and her brother and everybody dressed in black left out. The principal was here along with alot of news reporter. Alot of her family members were here. Keri came in with her friends and sat on my lap. I pushed off me and into the seat beside me.
" Show some damn respect Keri. My girl back there fighting for her damn life. " I said pissed.
" Oh so all of a sudden when she get shot , she your girl? Where was you earlier? In my bed so dont say she your girl. " She said angry. I snatched her up by her shirt.
" I'll break yo fucking neck. She MY girl. MINES! Why you even here? " I asked scaring her.
" Son let her go. " My pops said. I pushed her off my hands and walked away.
" Quint where you going? " Mom asked.
" To clear my mind before I hurt that honey. " I said walking down the hall. I walked the hall to the gift store and bought the biggest teddy bear and a big ahh card they had. I sat in the snack room writing a apology letter along with all the good and bad memories. I walked to my car getting a picture we took together and placed it in the heart on the bear stomach. I walked back to my seat holding the big teddy bear and card. The doctor came out. She looked at me at me smiling. I turnt my head getting annoyed.
" Well we removed the bullets but she lost alot of blood. She's awaken as of now but we're gonna need a blood transfusion. " She told everyone.
" I'll do it. " Cameryn said.
" No Cam I got it. " I told her. We walked to the back and I saw my baby laying in the bed lifeless. I wanted to take the needle and give her all the blood I have. I kissed her head and grabbed her hands. She opened her eyes staring at me.
" Keyshia. Baby listen im sorry about everything I done wrong to you. It took me until tonight to realize , I really love you. If tonight wouldve been worser , we would've been together baby. I'll die with you baby. " I told her crying. She tried speaking but couldnt. She struggled trying to talk as tears came in her eyes.
" Noo baby. Stop before you hurt yourself. " I said as the nurse walked in the room. She drawed blood 3x.
