I went straight home and got Kalen out the car. He held onto me tightly as I got his firecrackers I bought him out the back.
" Mommy go pow pow. " He told me. I lit the firework in my driveway and it shot up showing beautiful colors. He smiled at me hugging my leg. Cameryn and Shania pulled up and was excited like little kids.
" Where the kids? " I asked Cameryn.
" Gone to the riverwalk with Dez and Black. " She said rubbing my back.
" Why yall aint go? " I asked them.
" Keyshia , we still going and so are you. We came to get you and if that bitch try some weak shit , we gone go to infinity and beyond on that bitch. " Shania laughed but looked so serious.
" Yelp sho is. " Cameryn agreed. We got in the car and Shania sat in the back with Nyla and Kalen sat in my lap. We got to the riverwalk and old classmates was speaking to us. We walked up to Quay , Dez , Black and all them niggas.
" Where Dreyton? " I asked them.
" He walked off and went somewhere. " Quay said. I simply nodded. Maybe he still angry bout our anguement from earlier. I honestly dont see why he angry cause I wasnt spending all day with his family. I have a family of my own. I sat at this riverwalk watching the fireworks and constantly called Dreyton but he never answered. I went home and Kalen and I both showered and went to bed. I got a call from Cameryn and answered.
" Yes? " I answered.
" Keyshia girl get in your brother old car and drive to Mason Dr. and come see what Shania and I see. " She said.
" What yall see? " I asked.
" Just come Keyshia and hurry. Bring your bat babygirl. " She said hanging up the phone I exhaled and grabbed Kalen and they keys. I got in the car with Betsy and drove to Mason Dr. I called Cameryn back.
" What I suppose to be seeing? Why we on this bitch street? " I asked her. Her and Shania both ran and got in my car.
" Just ride by Tamar house bestfriend and then do a circle. " She said. I drove past and saw Dreyton truck.
" The fuck he doing there? " I asked angrily. We did a circle and backed into the driveway of the house nobody stayed in. We sat there and they both got out his truck and he was all over her. I lost all my anger and grabbed Betsy. Cameryn grabbed my hand.
" Bestfriend wait til they go in the house. " Cameryn said. I sat there unpatiently as my leg shook outta control. They went in the house. A upstairs light turned on and thats when it turned off. I grabbed Betsy out and that engagement ring and made a long stratch across the whole truck. I took Betsy and knocked all the windows out and bust the headlights and the alarm went off. I went and jiggled the door handle and it was locked. The light turned on and he came outside in only basketball shorts and she was right behind him.
" Shit Keyshia. " He said looking shocked.
" THE FUCK YOU DOING OVER THIS BITCH HOUSE DREYTON!? " I yelled gripping the bat tightly pointing it at him.
" Babe calm down. Its not what you think! We was just chillen. " He said tryna grab my arm. I raise that bat high in the air and he backed up.
" STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME DREYTON. " I told him then I threw my engagement ring at him and walked off. I got in my brother mustang and sped off. Cameryn and Shania was right behind me. She called and I put her on speaker.
" Come stay with Shania and I tonight? " She said.
" Alright. I gotta go get my car and clothes first. " I told her.
