Aubrey's POV
My alarm woke me up. I really hope I have a great day.
I got dressed. I decided to wear a gray crop top, a white skirt, and some black and white converse. I put my hair in a high pony tail because my hair is pretty long.
After I did everything I had to do, I walked out into the hallways.
When I was walking I saw Brian kissing someone... Jenny?
It kind of bothered me but I walked right pass them. But, Brian noticed me.
"Hey Aubrey! This is Jenny... My girlfriend..." He said.
"Ugh... Brian! I was supposed to be her welcome buddy! She's a rude bitch Brian! I have to go. Call me later okay Brian?" Jenny walked away.
"Okay..." Brian looked down.
"Hey Brian... I'm no expert at this but, I don't think Jenny should be treating you like this." I said.
"Well... I guess you're right." He sighed.
"Look... We should get going to class." I told him.
"Yeah... We should. So...which class are you taking?" He asked changing the subject.
"FPS 101... You?" I asked him.
"No way! We have the same class!"
"Awesome!"
This girl walked in front of us. I guess Brian was friends with her.
"Hey Jordan!" He tapped her shoulder.
Jordan is the popular one. The supposedly "tomboy".
"What do you want Brian?" She rudely asked him.
"I just wanted to say I'm sorry about yesterday. Will you forgive me?" Brian sweetly asked her.
"Whatever. I've had enough of you right now. I need to get to class." She turned around.
"Stop being rude to Brian! Just because you're popular doesn't mean you can go disrespect other people!" I defended Brian.
"You should be glad he took the time to apologize for doing what he did!" I added.
She turned around.
"You're the new girl! The one that saw me yesterday. I wasn't expecting that from you. But guess what? Just because I'm popular means I can ignore you! Guess what? I will!" She turned around and walked away.
"Thanks for trying." Brian said looking down.
"You're welcome." I smiled.
"Why are people so rude now-a-days?" I asked.
"Because... people are just... stupid." He said.
We ended up bursting of laughter.
We got to class and sat down next to each other.
The bell rang and class started.
"Alright class. As you all know we have a new student. As we do to all our students we need to test you! Aubrey... show us if you deserve your ranking." the teacher spoke.
"By the way, I'm Matrix! Now get on with the test!" She yelled.
After the test she had a very impressed facial expression.
"Good job De Luca!" When she said that everyone started whispering.
"Quiet!" Matrix yelled.
"Everyone get on your team. Aubrey, your on Jenny's team for now." She yelled out.
Great.
I'm on the team that Jenny is captain of.
She is the captain... Right?
Why else would she say Jenny's team.
Damn'it.
~TIME SKIP~
"Tomorrow we'll continue!" Matrix yelled when the bell rang.
I stood up.
"So... How do you like your new class?" Brian asked me.
"It's not as bad as I expected." I looked at him.
"Hey Brian! Tonight I'm throwing a party you're invited. You can bring a friend if you want! Even you can come Aubrey! It starts at 8:30. By the way, nice play today!" Jenny kissed Brian and left.
"What just happened?" I asked, watching Jenny walk away.
"I guess we're going to the party!" He answered.
"Brian! Aubrey! You guys need to leave." Matrix said.
"Sorry Ms. We will leave right away!" I grabbed Brian's wrist and started walking to the door.
"You could of just told me to follow you." Brian said as soon as we were out of her classroom.
"Yeah but you would've took to long." I laughed.
"True." He smiled.
Gosh his smile is adorable.
What?
No Aubrey, he has a girlfriend.
But she isn't right for him.
Stop Aubrey.
"Aubrey, are you okay?" Brian asked me.
"What? Oh um yeah... I'm great..." I trailed off.
~TIME SKIP AGAIN~
It was 8:16. I guess I should get ready. I wonder who's going to be there. Brian is picking me up. He said his friends would already be there. By his friends I assume Jenny.
I should just wear the same clothes.
Someone knocked.
"Come in!" I yelled.
"Hey Brian!" I greeted him.
"Hey Aubrey. Are you ready?" He asked me.
"Yeah. Just give me a minute." I went to the bathroom and took my ponytail off.
My hair goes up to my waist. So it's pretty majestic when I take it out of a ponytail. Plus it's pink.(I don't like le color pink tbh)
I walked out the bathroom and Brian's mouth was literally hanging open.
"Don't do that! A fly can go into your mouth!" I laughed and he turned red.
"Sorry, you just look, great." He said realizing he was staring.
"Thank you! You look great yourself!" I smiled. He smiled as well.
Gosh his smile is gorgeous.
"We should go!" I yelled breaking the silence.
"Oh! O-Of course!" He replied.
He opened the door for me and we walked to the party.
