Aubrey's POV
"Aubrey! You were supposed to be out of my house 10 minutes ago! When are you ever going to leave?" Mom yelled.
"Right now", I walked up to her,"Bye mom... Love you." I kissed her on the cheek.
"Don't touch me! Bye Aubrey. Oh and ugh love you too" She yelled," Just kidding, I hate you." She mumbled.
I'm Aubrey, I have light pink hair, blue eyes, pale-ish skin, and a tattoo. Yes... A tattoo. It's a dead rose. It's on my ankle.
My mom, hates me. My dad left us. He had a "business trip" and he never came back.
My older sister committed suicide and I got really depressed.
But, that was in the past.
~TIME SKIP~
Once I got to the school, I went strait to Calhoun's office.
"Sit down, what do you want?" He asked me. He's acting all tough.
"Who's my welcome buddy?" I asked him sternly.
"Let's see Ms.De Luca, you're ranked... 4... Impressive! But not good enough." He said looking straight into my eyes.
"Who's my welcome buddy?" I asked again.
"Jenny Matrix. Now get out of my office." He pointed to the door.
"Gladly." I flashed him a smile.
I walked out of his office. I was looking around for Jenny. Then someone bumped into me.
"Oh I'm so sorry... Are you new? I'm Ki Swan by the way... What's your name?" She asked me as I got up.
"It's okay, I'm new, nice to meet you Ki, and my name is Aubrey." I told her.
"Do you know who your welcome buddy is? If you can't find them I would love to be your welcome buddy!" She said very quickly.
"Yeah my welcome buddy is Jenny Matrix, do you know who she is?" I asked her. She looked around.
"Yeah I know her, she is right over there. But i've got to tell you, she is one of the most popular kids in school. The most popular one is Jordan Wong.
"Well, I need to go, want to hang out later?" I asked her looking at who I suppose was Jordan.
"Sure!" She said and walked away.
I walked up to Jenny which was standing there watching two people fight.
"Hey, are you Jenny Matrix? I asked her. She turned around and sighed.
"Yes, what do you need?" She rudely asked.
"You're my welcome buddy." I rudely replied.
"Ugh, get someone else to do it!" She turned around.
"Fine..." I mumbled and walked away.
I mean I could go ask Ki.
I looked around for Ki but I guess I looked lost and some guy came up to me.
"Hey are you new here?" He asked me.
"Yeah... I'm Aubrey." I told him.
"I'm Brian. So do you have or know who your welcome buddy is?" He asked me while I kept looking around for Ki.
"Yeah but, she "isn't " in the mood so whatever." I replied.
"Who is she?"
"Jenny Matrix." He froze, I guess he has a traumatizing experience with her.
"So... do you know who Ki Swan is?" I asked changing the subject.
"Oh umm... Yeah! She's one of my friends. Are you looking for her?" He asked.
"Yeah... She said she would help me out if Jenny wouldn't." I sighed.
"Well, I could be your welcome buddy if you want." He said rubbing the back of his neck.
"Sure! I would love that! Let's go!" I smiled.
"Alright." He laughed.
He was adorable.
~TIME SKIP~
"This is your room... Wait... This is Ki's room... Your roommate is Ki!" Brian yelled in excitement.
"Yay!" I also yelled.
"No yelling in the hal- Aubrey? What are you doing here? Oh and greetings Brian." Ki popped out of her room... Well, our room.
"I'm your roommate!" I said happily.
"Hello Ki." Brian replied.
"Yay! Come in and we can help you set up your stuff." She said.
"Okay!" I turned to Brian,"Thanks again Brian, it really means a lot to me."
"No problem Aubrey." He smirked.
I hugged him. He hugged me back.
We let go.
"See you tomorrow?" He asked me.
"Definitely!" I smiled.
"Great! Bye Aubrey!" He yelled.
"Bye Brian!" I yelled back.
I walked into my new room. I took all my stuff out and started to move things around.
Once I settled in a bit, I laid down on my bed. Gosh I was tired.
"And this is only your first day." Ki stated. I guess she saw how tired I was.
"I know." I sighed.
I can't wait for tomorrow.
And I can't wait to see Brian.
