Sonya's POV
I was ecstatic, my mind was racing with thoughts on what to do for Cassie's wedding. I thought to myself if Cassie needs a ring, then, Jacqui needs one too, but I realized, father of the bride pays for the wedding. But in this case, who's the father of the bride? I saw Jax and Jonny talking to each other, probably about the wedding."Hey boys, what you up to?" I asked.Jonny:"Trying to see who we'll invite to the wedding."
Jax:"We have two families, but not alot of them we now."
Sonya:"Well that's disappointing."
Jonny:"But apperantly, Cass and Jack don't want this to be an expensive wedding."
Jax:"Now what kind of wedding is that."
Sonya:"I agree with you, these girls deserve a better wedding than anything else."
We started thinking of what flowers to put, what kind of tables we should order, or more or less where to have the wedding. Jonny and Jax were saying that Jacqui should where the suit and let Cassie wear the dress, I didn't know how to argue about that, but I agreed with it."So Sonya, what kind of rings should we get them?" Jonny asked me."Isn't that for the couple to decide?" I asked, Jax looked at me with a confused look."How do you know that?" He asked, I gave an annoyed stare and said back to him."I was also once married you idiot." Jax gulped and Jonny snickered. One thing that was also racing though my mind was, what would their surnames be."Hey guys, what do you think their surnames should be?" I asked the two men.
Jonny:"I'm pretty sure Cass wants to stay a Cage, but doesn't mind being changed into a Briggs."
Sonya:"I'm not letting that happen, I told her to keep her name."
Jax:"But a hundred percent, Jacqui will definitely stay a Briggs."
Jonny:"Woah woah woah Jax, mabye she wants to change into a Cage."
At that moment, Jax grew furious and filled with rage.
Jax:"What are you trying to say Cage!"
Jonny:"Woah Jax, I never said anything."
Jax:"Are you trying to say that being Cage, is more worthy than being a Briggs?!"
Jonny:"Woah, I never said that, I'm just saying mabye Jacqui wants to be a Cage."
Jax:"Well, your saying that Jacqui would rather be a Cage, over being a Briggs."
Sonya:"Jax calm down, its her decision, not yours."
Jax rolled his eyes at me and we kept on planning the wedding. Something about Jax was unsettling, he really doesn't want to loose Jacqui, but dang, saying that a Cage isn't worthy of a Briggs is really stupid of him. Especially saying that in front of a Cage. I don't want him to be a jerk to Jacqui and Cassie now, but we'll see how this ends.
Takeda's POV
So, my best friend, is marrying my ex...... pretty weird if you ask me. But Cassie and Jacqui do make a pretty cute couple. I caught Jin searching through the internet to find good things that a best man would wear, yes, Jin and I are best men. The thing is, I've never seen him this stressed before."Hey honey, how's it going?" I asked him, he gave a sad look but smiled."Its going ok, I'm just, worried." He said back to me frowning, I turned his face towards me."Now where did Mister sowapuss come from, why you worried?" I asked, he giggled."Well, I mean, Jacqui nominated us to be best men, I don't want to seem like an idiot, but I just (sigh) Nevermind." He said choking on words, I can tell he's never done this before, and neither have I, but hey, we want to give Jack and Cass the best experience they can get."Hey come on now Mister Sowapuss, no tears otherwise you'll make me cry, lets try our hardest to make Jacqui and Cassie proud." I said with pride, Jin smiled and nodded with determination."That's the spirit!" I said to him punching his arm, he smiled again and kissed my cheek, making me blush. He bursted out laughing and I blushed even more, but I tried to keep my cool. After all, he was just doing that to be funny.Sonya's POV
My job as General, I had to tell people to do their jobs and give them missions and such a such. When the day was over, I headed to my room and fell on my bed, I took my pillow put it on my face and screamed in it."How am I gonna keep this up until the wedding?" I said in the pillow, I sighed and sat the pillow down next to me, until I heard a knock on the door."Go away Jax, or if your Jonny, do the same."Cassie:"Well jeez, if that's how you answer the door then I'll leave."
Sonya:"(giggles) I know it's you Cass, come in."
Thw door slowly opened with my 24 year old daughter stepping out of it."How's it going in here?" She asked, I groaned."I'm guessing not good." She said back again. I fell back on my bed again and collapsed, Cassie was just sitting there with a worried look on her face."Hey General, are you ok?" She asked again."I'm fine Cass, just, today has been a whole other story, the fact that your getting married is amazing, but that also means I have to do crunch time and stuff and its just to much for me." I said to her I looked at her face and with some energy I smiled."Awww mom, you don't have to do all this for me, you can go back to doing your job, I'm not saying you don't have to."
Sonya:"Honey, you do know I'm doing this for you, I want to give you a good wedding."
Cassie:"I know you do, but you don't need burn yourself our for me, you can be you, take breaks, and lots more."
Sonya:"But what about the wedding?"
Cassie:"That can wait, Jacqui and are still thinking in where to have it."
Sonya:"Oh."
Cassie hugged me and pushed me on the bed, I snuggled back with her."(giggles) I love you mom." She said with no energy at all, I giggled and kissed her forehead."Mommy loves you too sweetheart." I said stroking her hair, with no energy she fell asleep, seeing her asleep made me want to sleep, that whole nap was just me snuggling against my daughter. For some reason, it felt good.
