Cassie's POV
Soooooooo Jacqui had a fun time with babs, but I also had a cousin coming to the wedding, well, two: Jason and Ledia Cage, brother and sister, those two are like best friends to me, I felt happy around them, and they were my favorite cousins, plus they were both in love with trouble. Jacqui smiled and titled her head toward the coat hangers, signaling that I had to go meet them at the airport."I'll see you in an hour hun!" I shouted."See you." Jacqui shouted back. The airport was an annoying drive to away because of traffic, but I managed to pull through. When I got to the airport, I leaned on the steering wheel and screamed, when I got off, I was hit with a big wave of icy cold wind. The airport had so much air conditioning, that it made me shiver, then I saw Ledia sitting by one of the waiting benches, I got excited. Ledia had long brown hair that she braided to look like my moms, her skin was pale, but her piercing blue eyes made sure you couldn't look away from her. She was wearing tight torn jeans and a leather jacket with a pink shirt, dammm this girl was dressing like a biker girl if you ask me. When she spotted me she face lit up and ran up to me, then I ran up to her, the impact from the hug was so hard, that I fell on the floor."HOLY CRAP CASSSSS, ITS YOU!!!!" Ledia shouted."Its great to see you to Ledia, but please get off me." I said with a struggling voice. She quickly climed off of me and I sat up on the carpet, Ledia smiled."Wow Cass, you made it, and I can't believe your getting married in five days time, and Dammm you look great!"

Cassie:"Awww thank you Ledia, same with you."

Ledia:"(giggles)."

I noticed that she was alone, she didn't have her brother Jason with her."Hey Dia, where's Jason?" I asked, when I said those words, Ledia's bright happy smile, turned into a sad frown."Oh, Casey wanted us to have a girls night tonight, so that's why I came alone, he just wanted to go sort out things at the hotel we were staying at."Ledia explained, I shrugged."Ok, can we atleast go say hi or-"

Ledia:"NO!"

I was cut off from my sentence, I got confused, Ledia's expression changed to guilty."Sorry, but I think Jason wants to be alone, you know how he is Cass." Ledia said, I just decided to agree with it."So what's first on the agenda?" Ledia asked.

Cassie:"Well, I was thinking we go up to the mall, then we go too a mountain top."

Ledia:"Aren't all the shops closed in the mall?"

Cassie:"Not in this one."

Ledia and I exited the airport and headed off to the mall, while we were there, we hot the clothing shops, and sometimes we hit the food shops. Well, we came back with piles of clothes, mostly Ledia, I giggled at her struggle to put it in the car. Afterward, we decided to drive to that mountain top, I looked at the passenger seat seeing Ledia all pouty and sad."Hey Dia, you good?" I asked. Ledia looked back at me, and back at the window."No." She said softly in response.

Cassie:"What's the matter, I thought we'd have fun."

Ledia:"No I am having fun, but, I'm just worried."

Cassie:"Worried about?"

Ledia:"I'll tell you when we get to the mountain top."

I just shrugged, when we got there it was quiet, again I got hit with another blast of icy wind. We were sitting above the city lights, it was beautiful from up there."So what was that thing you wanted to tell me?" I asked Ledia, she was looking down, making her shake."Ahem, Ledia!" I shouted, and that smacked her back into reality."Yeah Cass?"

Cassie:"What did you want to tell me?"

Ledia:"Oh, well, Jason is coming to the wedding isn't he?"

Cassie:"Yeah if course, why wouldn't I invite you and not Jason."

Ledia:"But luckily you did."

Cassie:"Why's that?"

Ledia:"Well, recently, Jason got diagnosed with cancer, the bad kind."

I cupped my hand over my mouth, I felt so horrible, like the world around me just shut off. The fact that everything in my ears turned silent, it made me uncomfortable."H how long d does he have left to live?" I said in a stuttery voice, Ledia looked at me with tears in her eyes, and tears down her face."2 years..." she said with a stutter voice as well. I began to sob quietly, Ledia noticed me and hugged me tightly. Feeling the warmth of her arms made me hug back, I felt like the whole world just hit me with guilt and pain."I'm sorry Ledia." I said to her crying still, she then sobbed quietly on my shoulder."Hey you know what, you made him proud, defeating Shinnok, getting married, you gave him everything Cass." Ledia said under her breath, I giggled and cried at the same time."Thanks Dia." I said in my sob, I calmed down and pulled away from Ledia's hug, and so did she."Sorry for making you cry Cass." She said to me, I giggled."Its ok, it's better than waiting for that to pass by." I said back, I looked at Ledia and she was smiling and I smiled back. Looking back at the sky, I admired the amazing view of everything at the bottom of my feet. After like 2 hours of talking, Ledia had to go back to Jason, I drove her back to her hotel and I didn't see Jason anywhere, I didn't like that, I waved goodbye, and drove back to the base. When I got there, my tear stains were very visible, I took a sigh and walked in the base and immediately knew people were going to ask why i was crying. Jacqui was sitting at a table with Jin and Takeda, they turned their attention to me and smiled and I smiled back."Hey Cass, how was your time with Ledia?" Takeda asked. I shrugged."It was good." Jin leaned in closer to my face and saw the tear stains."Have you been crying?" Jin asked."Its tears if happiness." I replied, Jin raised an eyebrow, I got a guilty look on my face."What happend?" Jacqui asked with a worried voice. I explained everything about Jason, all three of them shocked they didn't know what to say, but in the end, I shrugged. Jacqui explained everything about Babs, and I felt really bad. But in the end, she shrugged too, but Lui Kang, Kitana, Jade and Lung Loa were coming over tomorrow, so we had to go to bed.
