Overthinking

3rd PERSON POV
She stood in front of the mirror in the small powder room tracing over the skin where Harry had touched her over and over. Not knowing why. Just going it over and over till there was a red line down her arm. Isabelle was at ends with herself and her heart. Her heart was telling her screw Harry you love Niall, but her mind told her to just give up and give Harry what he wants, that it would be easier in the long run.
She didn't know what to do, or think. Her mind going in a million different directions.

Isabelle POV

 I'm not going to lie, I'm scared. What am I doing? I need out. I stood on shaky legs. I took a deep breath. I stepped out of the bathroom. With my heart heavy with guilt, sadness, and tragedy.  The thought of never seeing Niall again hit home. What if he falls for someone else? What would I do? I slowly walked to the kitchen. Everything was put back where it was. Like nothing happened.

I walked to the living room and stopped. Harry sat on the couch head in his hands. What is he doing? I walked toward the cuch and sat beside him. He looked up, he looked upset. Why? "I'm sorry, Isabelle, I really am." He told me, sounding sincere. I looked at him. "What for?" I asked. "For getting someone to take you away, thinking maybe I could convince you that I'm yours and you're mine. I watched you for awhile, I was fascinated by you, your beauty. The way you smile, your laugh. Every bit of it. I thought if I hired someone to get you, and get you to forget, that you'd fall for me, or believe you always had loved me. But, the tables turned. And, I guess it didn't help that I hurt you mentally, physically." He looked down at the ground. I grabbed his chin making him look me in the eye.

"You mean that?" I looked at him, his green eyes showing his heart. The true pure one, the one I had never seen before. "More than anything. I never thought I'd ever be able to sit down and tell you that. I didn't actually think I'd have to. And, I feel so bad. Your family has been looking for you, and they haven't stopped." I wiped my eyes at his confession. They were looking for me this whole time.  They cared, and I never knew. I lost hope, I gave up on them. I gave up on my family.

"What now?" I asked, really what would happen now? Why would he tell me this? "I've been thinking. Maybe doing all of this-" as he gestured to everything about him "-wasn't right. And, I know I said this would never happen, but I'm letting you go Isabelle, I'm setting you free." My heart swelled at his words, it picked up its pace. "Really?!?" I said tears threatning to fall. He nodded. "I'll take you home now, go take a shower look half decent. So, you can tell your mom the truth." I looked at him, and shook my head. "I'll tell her something. A tall tale, no matter what Niall said, I'll say I set up the whole thing to cover up skipping town for awhile, okay?"

"Why would you do that for me? After everything I put you through?" He looked completely confused. "Because in the short time I've been here, you've been a total ass, but I care for you, because you opened your heart. Nobody will ever know." He looked amazed. "I'm taking a shower, I'll be down in a bit, then we go. Yeah?" He nodded.

Harry POV

To say I was surprised was an understatement. I thought for sure I'd be waiting for the police to show up and arrest me, Take me from my home, and never see the light of day again. But, Isabelle is different, she blows my mind. And, for this, I'm grateful.

Isabelle POV

I walked down the stairs, Harry was standing at the front door, keys in hand. A look I really couldn't describe. He held the door open for me. I walked out the door a free woman, a real free woman this time. And, I'm sure the smile on my face showed it. We drove for a while. The world in a blur around me. It feels different, I feel different. The silence in the car was wierd. But, didn't last long. We pulled up to my house. I stepped out f the car. And, in the blink of an eye he was gone.
