Isabelle POV
"A promise.""A promise?" He asked, looking at me skeptically. I nodded my head at him. "Okay, a promise." He confirmed. "That sounds a lot better than what you came up with. Trust me." I said, sitting on the kitchen countertops.
"What are you going to do? Watch me cook?" He asked. "Well yeah, you need some company, here it is, plus, I don't know where you keep your medicine." I replied. He laughed, grabbing something from the cabinet above the fridge. I raised me eyebrow at him. He held his hand out to me. "Here." He said, taking my hand and dropping two tablets into my hand. "Thank you." I replied to him, for his rare kindness.
"You know, it could be like this all the time. But, only if you behave, and act like a civilized human being." He explained to me. "You know Harry, I never thought I'd actually come back here. Ever." I told him, he nodded in understanding. "I didn't think you would either, but I'm sure alcohol played a big role in your decision. And, if you decide to go home, I'll drive you, no arguments." As he said that my heart warmed, and my drunken decision was solidified. I will stay.
"I'm staying." I say.
"I was hoping you'd say that. And, now since we came up with this promise, our relationship will change." He informed me. I drew my eyebrows together in confusion. "Relationship? I don't think so." I told him, is he delusional? "Not that kind of relationship. The one we have right now is we are both equal, but this new one, I'll be the boss of you. The person who will watch over you and help you." He said, trying to clear things up in my head.
"Boss? Help me?" I asked, my confusion at an all time high. "We'll talk about it after we eat breakfast." His statement would normally be a question, but his was a command. I hopped off the counter, walking to the table. He held my chair out for me. I sat. "Thank you." I said watching him walk to the opposite end of the table sitting and beginning to eat, the eggs, sausage, and toast. "Your welcome." He said suddenly with a grin.
He was enjoying this, getting everything his way, being in control. I could tell without him even saying it aloud. I could feel his eyes burning a hole in the middle of my head.
"Now, you are the one staring, Harry Styles." I say laughing. "Yeah I guess so, the tables have turned." He replied. I looked up at him. He's different, changed. He doesn't have to lie to me now, not anymore. "Are you done?" He asked. "Yeah why?"
"It's time for some rules."
He stood from the table walking towards the doorway. "You coming, or not?" I nodded standing up following him to the living room. Seeing the couch made me cringe, looking at the floor where I'd laid for hours sucked. My stomach churned. He sat, patting the spot next to him, just like he did when he told me he was letting me go.
I sat, looking at him expectantly. "Are you ready to listen? Because, what I'm going to tell you may make you hate me, or scared. Whichever one comes first." I nodded. I think I'm ready to hear what he's got to say. I think.
"Here's how this is going to go. We are going to start with the rules:
Rule 1- You will do as I tell you, and you will do it without question.
Rule 2- No cursing, nothing dirty should come out of a pretty girls mouth.
Rule 3- No more partying and drinking, unless I give you permission to.
Rule 4- You won't leave the house without permission.
Rule 5- You won't hit me, or become physical out of anger.
If you fail to follow these rules, you will be punished accordingly, do you understand?" When he asked that question my mind stopped.
