So, I realized this chapter could pretty much end the Woman, Woman series. But then I thought better and I'm enjoying writing this so much I think I'm going to go on with it. Planning lots of angst for the future, guys xx

Enjoy!

                                FOREVER

_

You hate exams season. You loathe it so much you want to throw yourself off of the London Bridge. Well, not really. But still, you fucking loathe it.

You've been so tense for these past few days. If you're going to speak the truth you've been tense since Barcelona. Those three days seem too good to be true. You know they happened, but everything is still pretty much pretty unreal to you.

You obviously don't talk about it with your friends, but you remember someone telling you that after a couple's first time they become practically inseparable.

And Cara's been too busy to set foot in London.

It's killing you.

It's always painful to be away from her, but now that you've had a taste of heaven, you want more.

Besides, you could really use those magical backrubs of hers.

You start imagining her long, gentle fingers and you shiver involuntarily.

"Christ..." You mutter to yourself.

"Did you say something?"

You're at Joe's - obviously - with a friend of yours, John. He's asked you to tutor him on a subject he's afraid of failing and, even though you told him he should ask someone else because you're not that good at business planning, he insisted on studying with you.

You can't help but to think that he fancies you. It's sort of cute, come to think of it.

"No, I was just wondering aloud."

He throws you a charming smile and goes back to his papers.

Your phone buzzes. Distracted, you answer it without checking who it is.

"Hello?"

"Is that how you talk to your girlfriend?"

You grin.

"Are you talking to me?" You hear. John's looking at you, his eyebrows furrowed. When he realizes you're on the phone, he apologizes, "Sorry, sorry."

You dismiss him with a soft smile.

"Who was that?" Cara asks on the other line.

"I'm studying with a friend." You tell her.

"Oh." She breathes. Then she's quiet for a while.

You break the silence.

"How are you-"

"Are you busy?" She cuts you off abruptly, "I can call some other time when you're not busy studying with some boy."

You shut your mouth tightly. You don't even know how to reply to her explosion. You're not used to seeing this side of her and you don't know what to think of it.

You get up and silently tell John you're taking a call outside. He nods and you walk to the back room.

"You know I'll stop what I'm doing for you." You tell her softly.

"Right." She says quickly. But then she pauses. She sighs and goes on, "Well, I just called to hear your voice 'cause I really miss you..."

You feel the terrible urge to hug her tightly and never let go.
