Nozel x Reader

Nozel watched as you were laughing with Fuegoleon, he would be lying if he said he wasn't jealous. He always tried to get your attention when he was younger, but the older you both got the more you spent time with Fuegoleon. Nozel made a promise to you when you both were young that he was going to be the one that married you, yet he saw his chances slimming down more, each time you were around the second oldest of the Vermillions. He had a frown on his face but he quickly covered it up with his normally stoic face so no one saw how upset he was. You were everything to Nozel, and he could barely control the anger that bubbled up in front of him. He was sure Fuegoleon knew of his feelings for you, yet he was stealing you away without even knowing it.

"You are glaring at him again, big brother." Solid coughed and Nebra nodded covering her mouth. They knew of their brother's feelings for you, and they normally let him know when he was staring, glaring or almost breaking a glass in his large hands.

"Right..." Nozel said setting his glass down before heading out past you and Fuegoleon and going outside to get some fresh air. You and Fuegoleon stared at Nozel confused since he looked upset, you both stared at each other before shrugging it off.

"How has your sister been?" You asked, and Fuegoleon shook his head with a smile.

"She still trains in the forest outside of Clover Kingdom." He said and you couldn't help but cover your mouth and laugh.

"Geez, it would be nice to see her occasionally." You said, and he only chuckled slightly agreeing with you.

"Yeah, I am sure you will. Have you talked with Nozel and them?" He asked, and you fell silent shaking your head.

"No, not really. After the last argument we had, I sorta kept my distance."

"It was that bad?"

"Yeah, I just don't agree with how they treat Noelle. You know I can't stand by and watch family bully family." You said, and he nodded his head.

"Maybe you both should talk it out."

"I don't want to. I fear it's going to lead to another argument."

"That may be, but don't you think you should talk it out? He really does care for you." He said you groaned slightly leaning your head back.

"But..."

"(Y/N)..." You met your close friend's eyes and you let a sigh out.

"Fine...I will go talk to him." You said going to down your drink but Fuegoleon took it from you.

"Sober, you will talk to him." He said and you grumbled making your way outside to Nozel. You saw him leaning against the tree looking at the sky. You looked off to the side before making your way to Nozel. He glanced at you, as you sat on the bench. It was silent for quite some time, you both grew awkward. He sat beside you and neither one of you met the other's eyes.

"So you and Fuegoleon dating?"

"That's a negative."

"I see... you have been spending so much time with him. I just thought." Nozel said, and you looked at the sky.

"Well, I can't spend some of my time with you, when we have completely different views and we argue so much." You mumbled but he heard you, he looked at you and he couldn't help but stare at your beautiful face.

"Yeah, I guess not..." Nozel mumbled before staring back at the sky, it fell silent. Talking was never easy for you two after his mother passed, that's when you noticed the change.

"I'm sorry." You heard Nozel say you blinked at him confused and he stared at you.

"For what?"

"Being difficult, I promised I would marry you when we were younger. Yet, we argue so much I really don't see a future for us. I mean I want to see it, but I doubt you see it." He said unable to think of the words. You laughed softly before taking his hand into yours and stared at the sky.

"I guess we just have to figure something out." You said to him, he met your eyes and you both leaned in and your lips connected. You closed your eyes and Nozel lifted both of your connected hands and ended up entwining both your fingers. You parted from the kiss and Nozel kept his forehead against yours with a small smile.

"I love you (Y/N), I am sorry if I ever hurt you." He mumbled before pressing his lips to yours one more time. You touched his cheek gently and he grinned slightly as he held your waist gently pulling you closer.

"I love you too, but we should stop. We are in public." You giggled slightly, and Nozel felt a blush rise to his cheeks. He quickly parted and looked and saw his brother, two sisters, Fuegoleon and Leo staring at the.

"We also have an audience," he mumbled, you blinked and glanced seeing them, and your blush darkened.

"Ahh, I am going to kill them." You said, hiding your face into his chest and Nozel cracked a small smile.

"After that, we can work this thing out," Nozel said standing up.

"Let's kill them after the party, won't look good on the Silva and (L/N) house."
