(Sorry for the wait, and I'm sorry if the quality on this isn't the best, especially towards the end. My brain was being funky because of the writers block and I ended up rushing)

Enjoy

"This is boring…" Nightmare groans, casting his book aside. Dream looks at him confused.

"Why is it boring?" Nightmare huffs out an annoyed sigh.

"Every book I've been reading has the same damn ending and it's irritating." He throws his arms up in the air in frustration. "There's no change in anything, most of the characters don't even learn anything and it becomes so predictable."

"uh-huh…" Dream look back out into the distance, staring off into the field. He doesn't want silence to grow between them yet. "What's the book about?"

"Ugh...it's about these two 'friends'. One of them betrayed the other and they basically hate each other? In the long run, the other friend, the one who was betrayed, dies and the other guy regrets all the shit he did. And that's how all the stories go you know? Something happens between two people and then one of them ends up regretting shit, either through death or something dumb…"

"That sounds...exciting…"

"Not even a little…"

The two sit there in silence. Dream tries to think of suggestions… Like he always does when Nightmare goes on a rant.

"Maybe you should explore different genres. Perhaps you've been reading the same one for too long."

"I thought of that...but I wasn't too sure if I should."

"Eh, wouldn't hurt to try, right?" Nightmare chuckle slightly before smiling at Dream.

"Sure."

'What I didn't know was that my life has become a lot like the stories I've read….'

"Error you didn't have to." Nightmare stated, smiling as he looked at the exact replica of the cape he gave away.

"But I did anyways. You did really like it. I can't believe you gave it away." Error replied, putting his sewing materials away.
Nightmare throws it on, sighing in satisfaction. Error truly wasn't wrong.

"Man, I would give you a hug but I know how you are." Error smiles at him, pushing his glasses back in place.

"I'm ok with a small quick hug, as long as it's from you." Nightmares eyes widen in shock for a second, before he smiles again and gives Error a light hug, that was pretty quick and over within no time.

"What are you two gays doing in here?" The two turn to the doorway, looking at Cross. "Oh hey, you have a new cape already!" He walks over to them, looking at Nightmare, trying to find anything different about it.

"Geez Error, you did well. And in only 2 days."

"Skilled."

"Definitely skilled." The three laugh feeling pretty confident in themselves. The past few days have been pretty peaceful. A nice change to their crazy life. The three though couldn't stop thinking about that one boy.
Ari.
Especially Nightmare, he felt glad that a person looked up to him, but he was sure if he knew who he was, he would turn his back.
Even with that thought though, they all hope he's ok…

"So, I'm going to go out and grab some things." Error starts. "If you guys want, you can come too. Just put on something different to wear. You know, something...less suspicious…"
"Sure thing!" Nightmare exaggerates, giving a thumbs-up as Cross nods.
