Chapter 15 - Partners

Once Error got settled into his own room, he started to get comfortable. He got used to Nightmare and Cross, and if he was being honest, he liked them a lot. The day he came out to them about his problems and what had happened to him they were extremely supportive of him and respected his space. Every once in a while though, he would ignore his phobia and wish for a hug from his two new friends. Not only are they supportive and respectful, but they give him confidence. They don't say anything to hurt him or be manipulative... as Blue was... They did joke a lot, but they never tried to hurt him. They would know what went too far and what is ok. They gave Error the time to just...well...relax.
Error became super close to them, especially Nightmare. The memories he's made with them are truly worthwhile. No matter how ridiculous.

"I'M ON FIRE!!" Nightmare screams, running around trying to put his cape out. "CROSS YOU ABSOLUTE IDIOT!"

"I'M SORRY!!!!"

"STOP, DROP, AND ROLL NIGHTMARE!!!" Error yells, quickly filling up a bucket of water.

"MY MOTHER FUCKING CAPE!"

"STOP PANICKING!"

"FUCK YOU!"

"WHEN AND WHERE!?!?"

Nightmare starts screeching as Error runs over and throws the water at Nightmare, putting the fire out and soaking Nightmare in the process. Error lets out a relieved sigh, setting the bucket down. Nightmare wipes the water off his eyelids before opening them and looking down at himself.
He takes off his cape and looks at it before looking at Cross with a glare, earning nervous laughter from him.

"Sorry?" Nightmare looks back at his cape and sighs.

"Well, that's ruined." Error takes a good look at the partially burnt cape and looks back up at Nightmare's saddened face.

"I can make you a new one." Both look at Error confused.

"You can sew?" Nightmare asks, his eyes widening. Error nods, smiling.

And that's exactly what Error did.

Error looks at the new cape smiling, the past few days he worked on it, and it was perfect. He walks out of his room and finds Nightmare in the living room.

"Here." Error hands over Nightmare's new cape. One look at it made Nightmare smile, it was even better than the last one. It definitely suited him better than the last one. He couldn't hold back his excitement and hugs Error, forgetting about his phobia until he heard a yelp sound from Error, reminding him. He quickly backs away, his eyes widen.

"Sorry! I forgot!" Error smiles, pushing his glasses back into place.

"It's fine, I'm glad you like it."

"Incorrect."

"Oh?"

"I love it!" Nightmare throws on the cape, looking down at himself and the cape. "It's perfect. Thanks!"

Error nods, smiling at Nightmare.

"It's no problem."

Ink kicks open the door, walking inside and taking a look around. Dream and Blue follow behind, looking around.

"So, what are we doing here?" Ink asks, unamused.

"Someone was here..." Blue takes a glance around before something catches his eye. His eyes widened.

"Hey, angel boy..." Dream looks over at Blue before seeing what he saw. His eyes widened at the sight of it.
