Most parents in India think or consider Arts as a faculty for students who scored less and Science faculty for scholars.
And let me tell you, this is a complete falsehood.
Also, let me introduce myself , my name is Zoya Khan , (twin) sister of Zafi Khan,
my best friend , my mentor , my secret keeper inshort my everything.
My dad's a Politician.And my mom... well she...is with God since I was 14. I miss her alot. She was my best friend.
And my brother is the best person in the world but also a pain in a** at the same time. He is taking up science because he wants to be a dentist.
Since mera pyaara bhai is taking up Science my dad expects me to do the same but I am stubborn af and I think I have got the quality of being stubborn from him because he never gives up.
"Are you even listening to me?" Asked dad.
"Huh..yeah dad ", I replied.
"You know when you were born your maa said "A painter is born" because you were so good at painting. But since I am not mom I beg to differ. And yeah...I have to leave now I have a meeting to attend. I'll be a little late. Have dinner and sleep early", said dad.
"I miss her,dad" I said, suddenly feeling agonized.
Dad kissed me on the forehead and whispered, "Me too" and left
Then my brother arrived with his head surprisingly down. I couldn't see his face properly because he was wearing a sweatshirt and he was...was limping? This is the first time I saw like this
"Bhai, Salaam", I shouted
He looked up, he had a hideous bruise on his cheek. He has never got hurt in a fight or atleast like this. Dad gave him a warning after the school incident.
