"Just because he defended me doesn't mean he's my knight in shining armour, Felix," Jisung turned around to scold the boy, still flustered from the short period of time their eyes made contact.

"Actually, that's exactly what it means." Hyunjin pointed out from beside him.

"Shut up." Jisung rolled his eyes and pouted, making the rest of the boys laugh.

"Am I missing something here?" Chan said, a confused look on his face. Jisung had forgotten that the older boy didn't go to their school anymore.

"To make a long story short, Jisung's  boyfriend was talking shit and Minho punched him." Jeongin cut in.

"God, I'm sorry Jisung, but I hate your boyfriend," Chan admitted.

"I don't think he's my boyfriend anymore," Jisung bit his lip. His voice had gotten a lot quieter than it previously had been and now he felt like he was holding back tears. How can his mood change so drastically?

He shouldn't even be sad that they broke up, he hit him. Pretty hard too. So why did he care? Maybe it's because they had been together for so long and Jisung is just shocked. Or maybe it happened too quick, they were together one minute and the next they weren't. But that's how most breakups happen.

"What!" Chan's hand slammed down on the table creating a loud bang, drawing everyone's attention, including Jisung's.

"He hit you?" He said in a hushed tone, which was quite the opposite of the loud noise he had just made.

One of the boys must've told him. But Jisung did want to talk about it anymore, all he could do was bury his head in arms and cry. Cry out of frustration, because he was sick and tired of people asking him about it. Cry out of anger because he let it happen. Cry out of embarrassment because everyone in the café was once again staring at the whole scene, watching it play out.

Including Minho and his friends.

Then, there was a weight on his head. Someone's hand was combing through his hair, he assumed it was Hyunjin's and the voice that whispered in his ear after proved him right, "Let's go to the bathroom."

"He's not worth crying over, Ji." Hyunjin handed the younger a tissue from one of the stalls.

"I know, I don't know what's wrong with me."

Looking in the mirror, Jisung saw how much of a mess he was. His eyes were red and puffy from the tears that had been flowing and the bruise on his cheek was still developing and getting more and more noticable.

"Nothing, it's okay to cry. I just don't think you should cry over someone like him." Hyunjin offered the other a smile, which he returned. However, it didn't quite reach his eyes, "You could be crying over something like my beauty instead."

Hyunjin added the cheeky remark at the end in hopes of making his best friend laugh. But he soon accepted that not everyone can be happy at all times.

"Okay, I'm gonna go join the others again, are you coming?" Hyunjin asked the sniffling boy standing ahead of him.

"I'll be out in a sec, I just wanna collet my thoughts."

"Okay, don't take too long." He  shot the younger a smile after hugging him and walked out of the small, but clean, toilets.

Jisung walked closer towards the sink, his appearence getting worse as he got closer to the mirror. Quickly, he turned on the tap, he closed his eyes and splashed his face with the cold water, which he actually found quite refreshing. He did it over and over again, until he felt that he looked at least a little better.

However what he saw in the reflection of the mirror when he opened his eyes again, made him let out an obnoxiously loud yelp. He wished he had just left with Hyunjin.

"Hey." Minho said with little to no emotion in his voice or expression.

"What do you want?" Jisung could already tell he wasn't going to enjoy the conversation they were about to have.

"I just wanted to check on you. You seemed pretty upset earlier." Jisung thought he had seen a slither of worry in Minho's eyes, but it had gone as soon as it came.

"Wow, Lee Minho wants to know if I'm okay? I guess you do have a heart." He replied, his voice laced with sarcasm.

"Shut up," the older rolled his eyes, but was now wearing a bright smile on his face. And for the first time ever, Jisung thought that maybe he wasn't so bad after all.

Yes he got into fights, way too often. And Jisung had never heard a positive thing about the boy throughout the three years of being at that school. But right now, he just seemed like a normal teenage boy. An attractive, normal teenage boy. But Jisung wanted to ignore the fact that he had just thought that.

"Well?" Minho said, trying to get the boys attention again.

"Huh?"

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little overwhelmed." Jisung said, acting as if he hadn't just been breaking down in front of Hyunjin.

"Really?" Minho asked a hint of suspicion in his voice.

"Positive." Jisung lifted himself up onto the sink area, which was surprisingly dry.

"How'd that happen?" Minho gestured to the bruise on Jisung's cheek and Jisung mood had immediately dropped.

The young boy let his head fall back and hit the mirror behind him, creating a loud bang, which made him hope he hadn't damaged it. He stared at the ceiling."Byungjoon slapped me."

He didn't see the point in sugar coating it. That was what happened, so that's what he was going to tell people. It's better than letting them assume, that would probably lead to the whole situation being blown way out of proportion. So he just came out and said it, because he believed that, that was the easiest way to do it.

"What?" Minho practically growled and Jisung would be lying if he said he wasn't intimidated.

"I'm okay. We just got into an argument and then it...happened." He tried to assure the older.

"It doesn't matter whether you got into an argument or not, Sung. He can't hit you." Minho was obviously so angry, Jisung was almost scared for Byungjoon. "The next time I see him, I'm gonna-"

"You're not going to do anything, Minho. If you try and have another fight with him, it's only going to cause more problems. For the both of us." Jisung jumped down from the sink area he was sitting on, deciding that he was ready for this conversation to be over, and headed to the door. "Trust me, I'm fine. Thanks for asking."

And he was gone.
