"Jisung, where did you go last night?" Hyunjin asked, once he had gotten comfortable at their lunch table.
"Oh I was just tired, you know? It was pretty late after all." Jisung lied through his teeth and gave a quick glance to Jeongin.
When Jisung woke up that morning, instead of going downstairs to find his parents he found Jeongin instead. The younger boy being there didn't give him much time to dwell on his parents absence, so he quickly pushed the matter to the back of his mind. He never did much thinking whilst he was with his friends, especially Jeongin, who was always talking. Normally, he'd be out of the house 10 minutes before school started, but not today. Today, he was out of the house 30 minutes before. Jeongin had decided to rush him, just so they could go to a cafe and get coffee, which Jisung ended up paying for.
"I didn't miss anything whilst I was gone, did I?" Jisung asked, trying to change the subject.
"Not much actually," Hyunjin smirked and moved his gaze onto Felix, "Just Felix and Changbin flirting for most of the night."
"Shut up, there was no flirting," Felix hissed and attempted to throw a chip at the teasing boy, which missed and landed on the floor behind him.
"There definitely was," Jeongin piped up.
Felix decided it wasn't a good idea to try and argue with the two boys and just sunk down into his seat, leaving Hyunjin and Jeongin to laugh at him.
"Okay, anyway how aren't you guys hungover? You stayed out later than me, this doesn't make any sense." Jisung frowned and pointed at the three.
"Jisung, you were the only person at the party that got really drunk. Not everyone needs alcohol to have fun." Jeongin sighed.
"I can have fun without alcohol," Jisung muttered, "Besides, I know thats not true. There were so many drunk people last night."
"No, there wasn't. Apart from you and Minho, I think like three other people were really drunk. The rest were just a bit tipsy." Felix informed him.
"Minho? Minho wasn't drunk." Jisung said.
"He wasn't whilst you were there, but after you left, he drank quite a lot." Hyunjin told him.
Jisung's mind immediately wandered to the messages Minho had sent after he'd left last night. He didn't seem drunk, but Minho getting drunk couldn't have been a surprise to anyone. He wondered if the older boy will even remember sending those messages.
"Hey guys," Two unfamiliar voices shouted from behind Jisung in unison.
He didn't want to turn and look, because quite frankly, he didn't have the energy. But by looking at the change in Felix's facial expression, he guessed that there was something weird about this situation.
Before Jisung could ask Felix who it was, Seo Changbin and Kim Seungmin both pulled out chairs at their table and sat down. Yep, this situation was weird.
"What's up?" Changbin asked, trying to spark up a conversation, but was greeted with silence instead, "You guys look like you've seen a ghost."
"What are you two up to?" Hyunjin asked, frantically examining their faces.
"What do you mean?" Seungmin said and picked up his food tray to examine the so called 'food' on it, which led to the tray being placed back down and Seungmin frowning, "We're sitting with you guys."
"Why," Felix sounded disgusted.
"Well, it's kinda boring without Minho here and I enjoyed talking to you last night at the party, so I suggested it to Seungmin and he agreed." Changbin smiled. Like a genuine smile. Like a real smile. Not a smirk. A smile.
