A/N: Sorry but, Mason won't be a lover in this sooo, ya. Sorry for any confusion there may have been!
————————
The boys all silently eyed me. My smile slowly faded and I started to squirm slightly. Rory seemed to notice my dilemma and slowly started to walk up to me."Ok then, now that that's settled! Why don't we introduce ourselves!" The girl announced.
"Oh, can I try!?" I exclaimed.
"Uh, sure!" Rory said, slight confusion laced in her voice.
"Ok then, that ones Delta.." I said pointing to the teal haired male. "And that ones Echo, there's Blue, and the one hugging me is Charlie." I smiled, pointing to each in turn.
"You forgot Mason.." Blue pointed out.
"Oh..sorry" I said, a small blush forming on my cheeks.
But, nobody had said his name so there was no way of really knowing. I looked to Rory who was smiling with pride. This in turn made me smile as well. I silently looked up to the male slumped up against an oak wood tree.
I slowly brought my hand up to point at him, "That one over there is Mason.".
I smiled when he opened one eye to look at me, a small smirk graveling his features. I looked back to the three boys not hugging me. Delta was looking at me, no, glaring at me. Echo had a smirk plastered on his lips, while Blue just gave me an 'are you serious' expression. I then looked down at Charlie to see him smiling like a buffoon.
This in turn made me start to giggle. There all just so different. Delta seems like a rag muffin you don't want to mess with, Echo seems nice but I'm guessing he's the perv of the five, Charlie is one big ray of sunshine, while Blue seems really closed off. I wonder what happened to him. Mason on the other hand seems to keep to himself ,but he still has a sense of humor.
They all just looked at me as if I was insane, well Blue and Delta did. Charlie just looked confused while Echo was eyeing me suspiciously. Mason didn't seem to care.
My giggle fest was abruptly cut off by a low growl in my stomach signaling that I needed food. I sighed as I felt Charlie flinch. I silently closed my eyes taking in a deep breath while gently pushing Charlie off me. There, to the upper right I smelt boar. He seemed big too.
Once Charlie was farther away from me to the point the I wouldn't jab him with my knife, I launched off my back foot into the direction of the boar. I ran swiftly, barely making any noise as I sprinted closer to the hog. As I neared the pig I noticed there were two. I quickly pulled out a second knife stored in my boot to kill the other beast as well.
I jumped into the air back wards trying to make my way above the two unsuspecting prey. Once midair and above the two animals, I threw my daggers down at great speed hitting one in the eye and the other in the forehead. Luckily I had thrown them hard enough to hit their brains.
I landed with a thud as I watched the two pigs start to slowly die. They both slowly fell to the ground, limp. I slowly walked towards the two and stuck my knives in a beige cloth to clean later. I then hooked my hands on one of their horns and started dragging them back to the cent of the boys. Rorys wasn't strong enough.
As I dragged the boar back to where I just was, I started to think of all the events that just occurred. I smiled at the thought of the boys. Maybe we could be friends? That would be nice. I looked down at all the trinkets that adorned my body.
There was a flawless f/c ribbon tightly tied around my wrist, it was from my older sister Erica. She was always the sweetest and most stern of the bunch I lived with. She had died protecting me and my siblings from my father. Ya, he had been exposed to some really bad drugs and tried to kill us, he had even hit me on the head with a beer bottle. I still have the scar, it's not big or anything but it's there.
My father was usually calm and one of the most reserved of us. He worked as a scientist for some special lab, he would never tell us for what tho. I don't know what happened to him, I can only hope he hasn't tried to kill anyone else. He had been in the kitchen, my sister told us to run and while I had held the door open for my siblings to run. When I looked back for my sister, he was standing there, covered in blood and a large kitchen knife in hand. I kept a small piece of cloth from a dress he had bought me when I was three.
Then there was the charm bracelet from my twin brother, Elliot. He could be a brat most of the time, but he cared for me. On my 12 birthday he had bought me a charm bracelet, on it there was a small T-Rex symbol imbedded into the small piece of metal. He had died pushing me out of the way of a dinosaurs jaws only to be thrown away. My grip tightened on the boars horns and my pace quickened.
Then there was the ring from my little sister, Cathy. It was a ring made of three gold bands connected to make one ring. We were never close, but when you almost get killed by a triceratops, I'd assume you'd grow closer to each other. One time she had, had an out burst at me when I was trying to help her with her leg, but even now, It hurts to replay the words she had said to me all those years ago. She died protecting Elliot.
Then there's the twins, for my 14 birthday they had secretly hid a locket they had found in a nearby river and put a picture in it. Andrew, a brat who always boasted about his accomplishments, but cared about his family more than his pride. Alexander, quiet and usually reserved to himself, would give his life for his siblings. And that's just what they did...
I looked at the ground for a second, remembering the small plush that I kept in my bag from my mother. She had died before I even met her. Dad would always meet her in secret and then come back with more children. It was horrible. I hadn't realized what he had been doing until I learned what it was from my sister. When he came back saying she was dead, it was hard for me to cope with it. I had only been able to see her when I was three. Since I was so young at the time, I couldn't even remember what she looked like. I'm just happy my Dad had still loved us and our Mother.
I shook of the depressing thoughts as I kept a steady pace too quickly make my way back to the boys and Rory. Maybe they will like the food, if I give some to them that is. Then again I'll still need to cook the food. Hopefully they have a fire they can start for me to roast this pig...
