I stood defensively as it slowly moved closer to the smaller rat in front of me. What is it doing? Doesn't it know I'll eat it, but the thing that's getting me most confused is the fact that the small rat is defending the thing."Rory, please!!!" The the thing screamed again.
I watched the rats eyes look up at me. She looked as if pleading? For what, for me to spair my meal? Ya right. I was about to scoop up the small animal, but was cut off by two legs standing in front of the rat. My eyes slowly looked up at the h/c haired thing.
It stood defensively in front of the rat, as if it could stop me from eating what's mine. The thing stood with its front arms wide, what is it doing? I stared it right in the eye, the thing had round e/c hues and I noticed a small scar on its right hand. It was large and it ran slightly past the things wrist.
I slowly let myself look her back in the eye. I can see emotions that I haven't seen in awhile, she was....scared. Most of my prey don't show emotions like this thing was right now. The words that came out of her next made me take a step back.
"You can kill me, but don't you dare touch my brat!!! YOU HEAR ME!!!" It screamed.
Why is it protecting a dinosaur, one of the many things that has killed its kind? I stared her down for a minute, should I give up my food? If I wanted, I could tear this thing apart with little to no effort. If I can do that, why is my gut telling me not to. With a huff, I slowly start to turn around and stalk back into the forest.
That's when I hear the thing behind me crumple to the ground with a thud, this causes me to stop in my tracks. That's when another female voice is heard. It's a higher pitch to the one that was just yelling at me, a child's? I slowly turned my head around to see a child leaning over the crumpled form of the food I was just about to leave.
It had deep red hair that reached down to her shoulders, with closer inspection I saw bright coral highlights here and there. Oh, that must be the little rat. Why is she so obsessed with the creature under it? I watched with interest as her bright yellow hues looked up at me.
"Help me!!!" She screamed and the next thing I knew, I was in my human form carrying what is now know as a female human in my arms. It's going to be a long night...
~Your POV~
I slowly open my eyes to see two bright green hues looking down at me. I resist the urge to scream when he lets out a happy yelp. I soon start to hear loud footsteps growing closer to me and the raptor towering over me.
I let out a breath I was holding in when the beast slowly starts to move behind me. Soon after the footsteps stop. I suddenly jolt up of the realization to the fact that my little monster wasn't here. I leap up in search for my conniving brat.
"Where the hell are you..." I mumble not knowing of the six people behind me.
I suck in a shaky breath as I slowly turn around to face the dinosaurs behind me. Wait....WHY ARE THEIR FIVE HOT MEN BESIDE A CHILD BEHIND ME!? I stare blankly at the group, my head slowly turns from left to right analyzing each one of the people in front of me.
"Who are you and why am I here?" I growl, mainly at the men.
"Chill princess, were not ganna hurt you~" one with deep hazel hair cooed.
"Echo, stop being such a goddanm perv!" One with light teal hair growled.
"I agree with Delta..." another with dark blue hair said, his voice monotone.
"Oh shut it Blue, your the one who brought her in the first place!" The one known as Delta barked.
I silently eyed all of them, but my eyes stopped on one with bright green hair. He looked as if he was about to explode. I gave him a nervous smile and his goofy grin seemed to widen. He startled me when he ran up to me at full speed, almost tackling me to the ground in the process. My brothers used to do that to me, snap out of it! I shook my head trying to shake off the memory.
"Hi!!! What's your name!? I'm Charlie!! Heyyy, why aren't you talkiinnnggg???" The boy whined.
A small blush appeared on my face as he buried his face in my breast and looked up at me smiling. I looked away, feeling his arms hugging me close to him. I slowly looked back to the other in the group to find them all fighting, so their brothers?
"Hey!" Well that got their attention.. "So, who's going to tell me who you are and why you saved me!? Oh, and while I'm at it, what happened to the bloody velociraptor!?" I yelled but got no response.
They all looked at each other as if not knowing what to do, the one hugging me just stared up at me. I cocked an eyebrow when the little girl stepped forward, and with that I noticed another man. He was leaning against a tree, eyes closed.
"Hi, um, there is one small thing that I need to tell you.. um dinosaurs can turn into humans..." I just stared at the girl and, her and the boys stared back, mostly.
I silently studied their expressions and they were all dead serious. It took me a minute to process what they just said, but when I did, it wasn't exactly what the were expecting. I sighed as I looked down at Charlie.
"So you were the raptor that was watching me sleep?" His bright green hues looked away in embarrassment, I noticed a small blush start to appear on his face.
I patted his head and looked up at the others. Delta and Echo stood staring at me, their mouths touching the floor. Blue on the other hand just looked surprised. The red head, which I assume is Rory stood with a smirk plastered on her lips. The man in the back was still slumped against a tree but he had one eye open, looking at me.
"Wait, you still never told us your name and the little girl wouldn't tell us either! She only called you her mom!" Charlie pouted, still hugging me.
I smiled at his comment. Rory calls me her mother? Well that's new, but you don't see me complaining. I always wanted to be a mother.
"The names Y/n M/n L/n, but you can just call me Y/n!" I smiled happily at them, still stroking Charlie's head...
