Ups and downs

If you die,I die.

Me,Sandy and the others were waiting for the doctor to tell us some news on Hara's condition.They were still in the surgery room.No news.No nothing.Just silence.But something broke that silence.High heals clacking on the clean hospital floor.They were coming quickly in our direction.We looked at the person,making those sounds.It was Hara's mom.She was crying and hurriedly walking towards us.
Hara's mom:
Where is my child?
Leo:
Miss,Hara is in the surgery room.We don't have any news on her condition.
Sandy got up and walked towards Hara's mom.
Sandy:
Oh miss I'm so sorry for what happened to her.
Sandy's tears were streaming down her face.
Hara's mom:
Can you enlighten me?What exactly happened to my baby?
Tay then got up and walked to Hara's angry yet sad mom and said angrily:
Ask Leo!He started all of this mess!
Then he turned around and walked to the exit of the hospital.
Rocky:
I'll go talk to him.
He followed behind Tay.
Hara's mom turned to Leo angrily and asked:
What did you do to my child?How did  you get her to take those things?!
Leo:
Miss please calm down she will be okay.
Hara's mom lifted her hand and slapped Leo.He held his cheek and looked at her.
Leo:
I'm so sorry Miss I didn't want the things to happen this way!
Hara's mom:
But they did!They fucking did!My only child is dying right now!Because of you!
She started crying again.
Hara's mom:
Everything is your fault!
At this moment the doors opened and the doctor walked out of the room.Leo and Hara's mom walked up to him and asked how she was.The doctor looked with sad and helpless eyes at them and said:
She survived but sadly she will be in coma for we don't know how long.I'm sorry.
Hara's mom covered her mouth with her hand and cried more.
Leo:
C-can we see her?
Doctor:
Only one person at a time please.And ma'am please can you come with me so we can discuss the payment over the surgery?
Hara's mom nodded and they walked off with the doctor.Leo looked over at the others and they nodded.He walked to the door of her room and went in.
She was there.Laying on the bed.Tubes coming out of her mouth and nose.Cables coming out of her arms.Pale skin,cold body.He hated seeing her like that.Leo walked over the bed and sat down on the chair that was next to the bed.He held her cold,lifeless hand and started talking in quiet voice:
Oh gosh I'm so stupid.I knew this will happen to one of us.But why?Why to you?Remember that day we were laying on your bed?When I told you about my void?When I told you that you fill it?If you leave me it will get bigger.No one will be able to help me then.The day I stopped you in the school hallway was the day I understood that you were the one for me.I was fascinated by you.Please.
Leo talked quietly now:
Please don't leave me.I want you by my side.For tomorrow and forever.If you die I die!
A nurse came in the room and asked Leo to leave the room.He stood up and looked for one final time at her.At this moment he realized that he won't be able to live his life without her and then walked out of the room.Some of the other guys already left.It was understandable.They were there for about 8 hours.Tay,Sandy and Leo were the only ones left.Leo sat next to Tay.
Tay looked at him and said:
Look man I'm sorry for earlier I was just angry.I knew some shit will happen to one of us.And Hara just came in this town.I didn't want this to happen to her.I wanted her to live a normal life.
Leo:
It's okay.It was actually my fault.You were right.
Tay:
No man it was mine and Rocky's fault.We started this whole drugs thing.
Leo:
You did but we gave in.If we had a strong will we would've not took them.
Tay:
I'm still sorry.
Leo:
We all are.
Sandy:
Guys I'll go home.Can you update me if her condition gets better?
Tay:
We will.
Sandy:
Thanks.
She said and walked out.Now it was just us.We didn't feel how we fell asleep.
We woke up from some voices.
Nurse:
Doctor,patient 12!
Patient 12?That's Hara's room number.Leo woke up and saw Tay who was already up.Leo got up and saw bunch of nurses and doctors walking in her room.
Leo:
What's going on?
Tay:
I don't know they won't tell me anything.
The both walked from side to side and after a while Hara's mom came.
Hara's mom:
What is going on?
Leo:
We don't know.Still waiting.
Few minutes later the doctor came out with a smile and said:
She woke up!
