The Struggling Life (Completed)

Chapter 3

I couldn't sleep that's why I spend my night on the chair. At 5 am, I got fresh up and took bath. Nikki also woke up at 6 am. After doing our daily routine, we decided to eat breakfast. We went to near restaurant and ordered for our self. We ate breakfast and I told her to stay at hotel. She agreed. Now it was time for me to search something.
I went to internet cafe. I searched about Rastogi group. There were a lot of pages about it. It means it was not any fake company. I spend my almost  two hours for collecting data about that company.
I had her visiting card that's why it was time to search about her. I called at company number which was on the site. Someone picked the phone. And I heard the female voice, "gud morning, Rastogi group.. how can I help you?"
I greeted her, "hello, I am Manisha and I want to talk with Ms Samita."
"Ok, mam just wait. I am transferring the call to her." I hold the call for some mintues. Then I heard her voice. I recognized it's her voice, "hello Manisha. So you decided?" She asked with cheerful voice.
"Hello mam, Yeah, when can I meet you?" I asked with with hesitation.
I heard her voice, "I am free now. You can come."
"Ok, I am reaching after half an hour."
"Bye... See you soon."
"Bye" I put the phone and paid the bill.
We couldn't live at hotel. Nobody would give us rented house without identity card.

I reached at time. It was huge company. I didn't know if she would hire me after looking my education certificate. I reached at reception and asked for Miss Samita. The receptionist made me wait for some seconds. When she confirmed, she told me the way to her office. I nodded and took step towards her office.
I knocked at her cabin door. After hearing her reply, I entered. It was huge cabin and decorated. She looked at me and smiled brightly, "come here and sit." She pointed in front of her chair.
I sat and looked at her. She continued, "I am glad that you decided to join us. Firstly, you have training period for two months. If you progressed and learned everything, you will be permanent. Do you have any question?"
"But you didn't look my education certificate. I didn't pass graduation till yet."
She raised her hand for my certificates. I handed over my file. She  looked carefully my certificates. And asked, "you tell me your name Manisha but in your certificate it is Manya."
I took deep breath, "I want to change my name."
"Ok no problem. I already told you. For two months, you are trainee. After two months, we will decide according to your ability."
"Fine, but I need a favour from you. As you know, we are strange for this city, we need shelter." I asked with hesitation.
"I will provide you company flat. You can live till you are in our company. If you need any help, just ask me. Are you not interested in your salary?" She asked with raising her eyebrows.
I smiled, "any amount is fine for me because I don't know I am suitable for this job or not."
She laughed, "don't worry. I have trust on you. You will be fine. By the way, I am appointing you for my and my company benefits." I smiled.

I went back to hotel and told Nikki everything. She was happy. I told her, "from today, my name is Manisha and your name is nikita. We need to hide our real identity. we came here to start new life after our parents died  you will never mention about Richa in front of anyone else. If you met anybody from past, you will avoid them and pretend you don't know. Understand?" She nodded.
I smiled, "now you don't to need worry.  I will take care you." She hugged me.
Samita aunty helped us to settle into company flat. I had to join company from next day. When we came into flat, Nikki looked at the flat and complimented, "it's nice." Samita aunty said us, "if you need anything, you can ask me." We nodded and she left for her home.
The following day, I joined the company. She introduced me as her relative. Everyone was nice to me. They welcomed me. I joined this company to learn and prove my ability. I only concentrated on my work. I was enjoying my work. Nikita continued her study.

After one month, I completely understood my job. Now, I can do my work without helping anybody.
It was Samita aunty birthday that's why she invited me and Nikita. When we reached her home, there was nobody.
I wished her, "happy birthday to you." She welcomed us and hugged me, "thanks" I nodded. After me, Nikita wished her and hugged her. She invited us inside her home. Nikita asked, "where is everyone else?"
"Actually, only both of you are invited."
We helped her making dinner. We seated on dinning table for dinner. We ate. She asked about Nikita study and we talked about company.
After dinner, we cleaned the dishes. she asked for coffee and we were enjoying coffee. Nikita was watching TV while we sat on dinning chair. She asked, "can I ask something?"
I nodded. She asked with hesitation, "why did you leave that city?"
I took a deep breath and prepared myself to tell her truth. I opened my mouth, "I wanted to tell you before but I didn't have any chance to tell you. You helped me a lot that's why I trust you. I think you deserve to know the truth." I told her everything. There were tears into my eyes when I finished. I looked at her she was sobbing. We were silent for seconds.
She took deep breath and said, "I don't know you suffered a lot. I am sorry."
"It's ok." I told her with trying to smile.
"That's why you don't like to interact with people." She said and nodded. "Now I understood why you wear the clothes which covered your whole body. If you don't mind, can I see the scars?" I raised my arm sleeve and give her my hand. She touched with affection.  then I let her see my neck and back scars. She murmured, "how much they are merciless." I was silent.
"Don't you wanna take revenge from them?" I shook my head with no, "I am satisfied with my life now. I wish to better life for nikita. After she settled, I wanna search my elder sister." I told her honestly.
"From now, I will support you in every way. You also need to continue your study. " she assured me.
I thanked her. I asked, "now, it's my turn to ask."
"Why didn't you get married?"
She smiled, "I loved someone. You can say that I was deeply in love with him. But he got married with her parents choice. I got into depression. My parents wanted me to get married. But I didn't want to get married with another person." She shrugged her shoulders with smile, "now you can see that I am single. But now I have family. Both of you are also my family." We hugged to each other.

Now, I started my study. I also joined self defense classes. I couldn't sleep more than three hours because of nightmares. That's why I concentrated myself into job, study and improve myself. My job was permanent after training period. In the other side, Nikita was doing hard work in her study. I am proud of her. My life was settled now.
