Third Person Point of View
Morning came and went. Iris, Zephyr, and Aiden got up and ready to leave for the hike to the Filtrian Pack. Aiden has used a spell to allow their scent to be covered until they crossed over the territory lines, which made it safer for them to travel.
It was around 10 in the morning when they crossed territory lines. Instantly they were surrounded by the patrol group in the area. They would've attacked if Iris hadn't pulled her his down. Liam, Maxwell's father, saw Iris and hugged her tightly.
"You're alive," he said in relief.
"I've missed you too Liam. Hows Max?" she asked.
Everyone grimaced at her mentioning if Max. He was highly unstable and loved in his wolf form for the most part. Liam didn't want to lie to his Luna, but he didn't want her to feel guilty about the actual truth. She has just returned to the pack after being missing for such a long time. He sighed before telling her.
"He's been in his wolf form every since you went missing. Maybe you can get him to shift back," Liam said.
Iris gave him a soft smile. Grief consumed her behind the smile. She was about to reply when Zephyr stirred awake in Aiden's arms and started to whimper for his mother. Iris too him from Aiden's arms and calmed the child. Liam stared at her with surprise, skiing with the other pack members.
"Is that your child?" Liam asked, assuming it was with Aiden.
"Yes he is. He's also Max's cold as well. The caster isn't the father," Iris said.
Everyone released the breath they were holding. Liam had tears in his eyes as he looked at his young grandson.
"What's his name?" Liam asked.
"Zephyr. Named after my father," she said as Zephyr started to fall back asleep in her arms. "May we go find Max?"
"Yes Luna. I'll mind link him to meet us at the pack house," one of the patrols said.
Iris nodded and they all started to head towards the pack house where Maxwell was waiting for their arrival.
