(I am SO sorry. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people were mad at me now. In all honesty I kind of forgot about this book, and I've fallen out of the fandom a bit. Please forgive me, I'll try to update more often. By the way, you should probably read the first two chapters again, I rewrote them.)

The Undertaker was silent for a moment, but afterwards he had his usual smile on his face. "You know, kitty, I might just call you that. (Y/N). The name seems to suit you, seeing as you two are so similar. It's been a long time since I've seen her, but I can still see her vividly whenever I close my eyes." He said in a strange type of sing-song voice. His hand moved to rub gently against the soft fur of his new friend's head as he cooed to her. "You know, Ciel and Sebastian should be coming by here soon. A few days, at least. You wouldn't believe how much that boy has changed in as little as five years..."

'Five years!?' She thought, her fur spiking up to twice it's usual size. Her ears pressed flat to her head, a low hiss left her bared teeth. "Five years!? What do you mean it's been five years!?" She screeched, her limbs beginning to tremble. 'What if something's happened to someone? William, or Ronald? What about Alois, or Ciel? Alois is so dramatic, being separated like this for five years could have torn him apart! William is completely unpredictable when it comes to things like this. Ronald has probably forgotten all about me. And Ciel... Five years? He's eighteen now, how much would that have changed him?'

"Calm down, (Y/N). What's got your tail twisted? Do you not like him? A lot of people don't, seeing how he's become so coldhearted. His butler is exactly the same, though. He's a demon, so of course he wouldn't change, but still. You'd think after our experience he would have seemed a bit different. Can't predict how everyone will react to loss though, can we?" He said softly as her fur slowly lay flat again. "Come along, I'll get you something to eat. That should make you feel better." He said, picking her up and bringing her to a side room.

This room looked to be a kitchen, with a small oven and a cooktop. There was already a fire crackling in the oven, as if it was already prepared to cook something. "I was planning on making bone biscuits, but maybe we can change it to kitty kibble. It's practically the same recipe, anyways. Do you like biscuits, (Y/N)?" He asked her as he set her down on the counter. She nodded slowly, to which he responded with a smile. "It's strange. It seems like you can understand me completely. Which is crazy, because you're only a cat. I guess they were right about me." He sighed softly as he took off his hat and pulled his hair into a ponytail.

She watched him with awe in her pale (E/C) eyes. He moved quickly through the kitchen, humming an odd yet catchy tune. A vanilla-coloured batter was soon whipped into being and being dolloped onto a baking pan. Indeed, the droplets were the size of cat kibble. Undertaker swung his hips to close the door of the oven, then leaned down to her. "In the meantime, I do have some leftover bone treats. Would you like to nibble on it?" He asked her, propping his chin up on his hands. His hair had long fallen over his eyes again, but his charming smile remained. She blinked at him and he took it as a yes. He quickly scooped a jar of bone shaped cookies into his hands. One sat in the palm of his hand, and was outstretched to her.

She grabbed it gently in her teeth, and for a moment forgot all human instinct. The sight of food right in front of her made her realise the ravaging hunger gnawing at her stomach. She practically attacked the treat, which really was vanilla flavoured. In moments there was only crumbs left where the cookie used to be. She practically snapped back to reality when she heard a handsome chuckle. "You really were hungry, (Y/N). It's cute. Maybe having a little pet will be good for me." He said, plucking out another cookie and handing it to her.

She ate this one much more slowly and took a moment to take in the Undertaker's appearance. His hair had grown longer over the past five years, but his bangs remained the same length. His eyes had the same tenderness in them, but seemed to have lost their lively shine. His voice was much less animated than it was in her world, though he seemed happier then when she had first arrived. When she had been able to see his eyes, they bore dark circles under them. He seemed somehow thinner than when he had left, but it was hard to see through his flowing robes that he always wore. 'What happened to you, Undertaker? Is this because of me, or something else?'
