3 Weeks Later

Yasmin's POV:

Mar and I have been talking a lot over the past 3 weeks. We FaceTime almost every night and text all the time. We have become a lot closer and are flirting with each other a lot more. Publicly and privately. I have even started to comment on his TikTok's and his instagram posts.

I know I sound like such an 8th grader but I've never actually dated a guy before. I've had my first kiss but that's about it. So this talking stage is all very new to me. It's kinda scary to be honest.

Even though we live so close to each other, we have yet to meet. Mar keeps asking to hang out but I constantly make up excuses. Im just too nervous. Every time I think about meeting him in person I get butterflies.

My mom got home last week. She has been a lot happier since coming home. I think the trip was good for her. It gave her time to relax with her friends and have fun. She doesn't get to do that very often, since she has me and my brother to take care of.

I got bored in my bed and the lighting was highboy super good outside. I decided to make a TikTok to the song 'Shawty In Love' by PlayPlayboi Carti.
