Midoriya of the Straw Hats

Chapter 6

(I apologize in advance for the amount of filler in here)

Picking up from where we left off, Izuku had just revealed his new technique in front of Edgeshot.

Edgeshot: Second gear? Are you some sort of car? What is this?

Izuku: It's a technique I named after my captain's. I developed it so I could fight against stronger opponents. It's basically a way for me to take my power to another level.

Edgeshot: Your body certainly has bulked up quite a bit, although I don't see how having bigger muscles and strange body markings will help you beat me.

Izuku: Just watch.

Izuku cocks back his right arm and holds his left palm out in front of him.

Izuku: Gomu Kenpo: ...

Edgeshot: Are you trying to aim? Whatever you're doing, it's leaving you open to attack.

Edgeshot dashes straight towards Izuku at high speeds.

Izuku: SMASH PISTOL!!

Edgeshot gets punched in the gut by green-tinted black fist and gets sent flying back. Izuku pulls back the fist and dashes ahead at a speed that rivals Edgeshot's. As soon as Edgeshot lands, he raises his arms to block a twisted fist aimed at his face.

Izuku: RIFLE!!

The fist unwinds and causes Edgeshot to skid back a few meters. While he's still skidding, he gets blasted in his torso by two open palmed hands.

Izuku: BAZOOKA!!!

This causes Edgeshot to cough up a bit of blood and get sent flying again.

Edgeshot: 'This power... He's much stronger and faster than before!'

Edgeshot lands on the ground and manages to spot a black fist aimed at the target on his waist. He manages to stretch his torso, along with the target, upwards into string and avoids the fist. Izuku appears before Edgeshot and pulls his fist back as Edgeshot stretches back to normal. He then disappears again. Edgeshot immediately begins searching the surround area for Izuku.

Edgeshot: 'Where'd he go?'

This goes on until he gets punched in the side of his face and sent flying in a cartwheel motion. As he's flying, he gets punched in the gut by a heavy fist and launched in another direction.

Izuku: BULLET!!!

Edgeshot manages to find his bearings in the air and stretches his hands to grab onto the ground. This slows down his flight and allows him to land on the ground. Izuku appears in front of Edgeshot just as he lands.

Edgeshot: Not bad, I can see that this transformation isn't just for show.

Izuku: Thanks, I haven't really had that much time to master this technique so I'm glad to hear that you're impressed by it.

Edgeshot: It's certainly impressive that you're able to match my speed and catch me off guard like that, but I'm not gonna give you another free shot.

Izuku: Fine by me.

Izuku and Edgeshot rush at each other and clash fists. The clash creates a shockwave which causes the wind to stir. They immediately begin exchanging blows at high speeds. At this point, they were moving at speeds the untrained eye couldn't keep up with. They both then stop and try to kick the other but their legs clash against each other. They both then jump back and ready their fists.

Izuku: GOMU KENPO: SMASH GATTLING!!!!

Edgeshot: NINJA ART: KUNAI STORM!!!!
