It was a breezy afternoon, though this was normal. It was a small town with less than 1000 people. Lots of room for that sorta thing. it was mid September, Y/N found this time of year calming, the leaves starting to turn. Walking around the small town Y/N didn't have much to do, she ended up calling her best friend Damion, everyone knew he liked her except her it seemed. Nether the less they decided to meet up, he said he could buy them Gatorade from the local grocery store. He bought three, the purple one, the green one, and the blue one. Why do they talk about Gatorade in colours? It's just easier.  Damion and Y/N decided to sit down by the town park. It honestly was the only place to sit. Y/N and Damion played a game when it came to Gatorade, they'd place them on the ground, then turning they'd walk ten paces before running to pick what Gatorade they wanted. The one left over would go to their other friend Mallory, that's if she isn't there for the game, today she'd see them later. She had to watch her siblings for a while first. "I'll go put them over by the big tree!" Y/N would shout over her shoulder, she liked being the one to place them as she could place the one she wanted closest to her. Running over, Damion would smile down at the girl. He was much taller than her. Damion was a quiet kid, sure Y/N was on the shy side though she's more vocal than Damion. The two would stand back to back, slowly but surly they'd reach the ten paces the game required. Y/N was yes, very short. But those legs moved fast. Running towards the tree shed grab her favourite Gatorade, the blue one. " Yess! I got it!" she'd exclaim smiling. Walking towards a picnic table, she'd push the bottle towards Damion for him to open it as she called Mallory. "Hey girl! Guess who's getting the purple Gatorade, it's you silly!" Once she'd hang up Y/N would pull the opened Gatorade towards her drinking around half of it. "Uh- Damion? You're looking a tad green. You feeling alright?" leaning forward she'd touch the boys forehead to check for any sign of a temperature. Pulling her hand away she'd notice two things. The first being her hand was now purple, the second being that her hand was extremely sticky. She'd describe it as frog skin. Less slimey though. More stick. "I-I c-could say the same about you, Y/N. T-Though- b-blue.." Damion would eventually say. Y/N knew he struggled though and was patient. "Damion.. There's no way I'm bl- DAMION I'M BLUE." At this he'd just laugh, Y/N didn't lose her cool much but when she did- Suddenly Y/N would call Mallory. Through the phone Damion could hear Mallory's soft soothing voice, "hey, hey you never call me twice- whats going on Y/N?" the rest I'm sure you could guess. Screams of  variations of "WE'RE BLUE AND GREEN!" could be heard all throughout town. Mallory's sigh could be heard as well, the wind liked to carry her voice. It fit in well. "I'll be there in ten."
