Elodie and Henrik chase each other through the water of district four. It was freezing, yet felt so refreshing. Elodie successfully pushed him into the water, giggling as the boy sat up drenched in water. In retaliation, he only grabbed her waist and brought her down with her, pulling her into a kiss.
"I wouldn't know what to do without you, fish boy." Her soft voice said, staring into his soft brown eyes.
"Neither would I, hot head."
Their nicknames had came from when they first met. Henrik was fishing, while Elodie was swimming within the depths of the water. But because Henrik couldn't see the then thirteen year old girl, he had caught her in his bet. Leading to her becoming enraged. Yet from that moment there was something pulling the two closer together.
"If you ever get reaped, please comeback to me." She says, moving his hair out of his face.
"I always will, love." He replies. "Though, I doubt that will ever happen."
