A small little girl was leaving her home with her mother and father, hopping happily over there as she began to climb into her father's black Ford pickup truck. She struggled to get her feet up but squealed as her father picked her up, sitting her on a car seat. She watched as her mother opened the passenger seat and sat inside, closing the door but turned her back to the little girl, giving her a soft yet saddened smile. "You ready to go to the store to get your big brother a goodbye present?" Her mouth eyes went glossy as the little girl nodded happily, her father fastening her seatbelt from her chair seat, The little girl looking up to her father confused as she felt small drops fall onto her face. She saw her father have tears roll down his cheeks, her smile slowly fading. "Daddy? Why are you sad?" She put her hands on his cheeks, but the father pulled away from her touch and closed the truck door at her, having her jump slightly and watch her father as she watched him go to the driver's door and opening it. She saw him wiping his eyes before sitting in the driver's seat, taking a deep breath before fastening his seat belt and started the truck's engine.

The girl was confused but kept watching as she heard her mother set her back against the passenger seat, the truck began to move as it drove down the street. The little girl looked through the window at the outside world, to what looked like where many children played and shared many fond memories, to what now is nothing but emptiness. Many toys left outside and abandoned. She watched the neighborhood she grew up in go by as her expression saddened, her curly black resting on her shoulders as she then sat back onto her car seat.

Her father was muttering in Spanish as he began to drive through some fog, The little girl unable to understand what he said, seeing her mother gently put her hand on his shoulder to calm him down. Her father soon taking a few breaths and smiling softly to her mother, him leaning towards her mother and kissing her forehead then leaned back to his seat, facing the roads as best as he can. Her mother glanced back at the little girl and smiled a bit.

"What are you going to get for your big brother, Yaz?" Her mother raised an eyebrow, obviously trying to lighten the mood a little. Yaz smiled a bit. "Uhm. . . Maybe uhhhh. . . I think a toy puppy! He loves puppies like me!" She squealed, Her mother smiling softly. "Alright sweetie. . ."

Later on, The small family stopped by a store and walked in as they head to the toy isle, Yaz looking around until she gasped happily. She ran over to what looked like a stuffed golden retriever, soft to the touch as she hugged it tightly. "Mommy! I found the perfect gift for big brother!!" She ran back to her mother, raising the stuffed animal to her mother to show her what she had chosen. Her mother grabbed the stuffed animal and sighed. "This should be perfect for him. Let's go to the hospital for him now." Her mother smiled slightly as Yaz hopped happily, squealing as she ran to the cash registers check out line, Her parents following the hyperactive girl across the store.

While waiting, One of the stores managers came out of the back office and pointed at one of the cashiers. "Turn on the tv, quick!!" The cashier jumped but quickly grabbed the remote, turning on the tv as the crowd of parents and adults muttered, turning to the tv. Yaz grew confused as she turned around as well, her father picking her up as he hugged her close.

The TV turned on to a panicked news woman, her blonde hair a mess as her grey suit looked ripped and ragged, Some of her makeup was smeared and her mascara following the tears rolling down her cheeks. "Everyone in the united states, Evacuate immediately!! This place is not safe for ANYONE to stay!! Please Evacuate now-!!!" The news woman then screamed as the camera fell to its side, The women being tackled by a man and screamed at the top of her lungs as he began to bite down her neck, ripping her flesh out. Yaz gasped as her eyes widen, only for them to be quickly covered by her father's hand.

The customers began to go in a panic state as they began to run back to the isles to grab as much as they can carry, some pushing each other to get a certain item, most of the employees stopping them as best as they could. Yaz's parents soon ran out of the store, the alarm going off as Yaz hugged the stuffed animal tightly, soon screaming was heard from outside. Her mother turned her head and gasped as Yaz was shaking violently, hearing the blood curdling screams of a man and a woman being eaten alive by three other people.

Her parents ran to the black Ford pickup truck, Yaz's eyes uncovered by her father's hand, witnessing a boy being eaten alive by his mother. Tears streamed down her cheeks as her eyes widen, Her father putting her on her car seat and shutting the door quickly without putting her seatbelt on. Her mother hopped in the pickup truck and Her father quickly get on the driver's seat, starting the car before beginning to speed ahead through the parking lot. Yaz panicked as she put her seatbelt on and hugged the stuffed animal tightly, shaking violently.

Her parents suddenly started to scream at each other in Spanish, Yaz unable to understand them as she sobbed in fear, shaking her head as if she was trying to wake up from this nightmare. Soon everything was slowed down as Yaz looked out a window, seeing a familiar figure outside on the street, His black hair with light blue highlights a mess and a familiar yet different colors stitched up hood over his head. Her eyes widen as she screamed: "BIG BROTHER-!!"

Suddenly the tires screeched and everything went completely black.

Yaz groaned in agonizing pain, hanging upside down from her car seat as her vision was blurry, trying to slowly look around as she heard a muffled voice calling out her name. She soon closed her closed again, feeling a set of arms grabbing a hold of her and taking her out in a hurry. She slowly opened her eyes to see the black hair with light blue highlights again, noticing him as she teared up. " R. . . ra. . in. . . " She began to cry softly as she nuzzled to his chest, Rain petting her head gently as he began to take her somewhere. "Shhh, It's okay. I'm better now, But I have to take care of you for now on, okay? Also, Thank you for the gift. I love it," He kissed her forehead, Yaz sniffling as she nodded. "O-Okay. . . But where are we going. . ?" Yaz looked up at her big brother as he sighed, holding her close as he was gripping onto what was a bloody nailed bat.
