Pool Night

Carly's POV

It was a late night and I decided to take a little dip in the heated pool. I put on my bathing suit and looked in the mirror. My ex would always tell me I was to pale to show my skin. I sighed, grabbed my towel and walked out of my room and walked down to the pool. I opened the door to outside and immediately felt a strong, cold breeze hit my body. I instantly headed for the hot tub. I walked fast but slow, so I wouldn't trip, I threw my towel on a chair and got in the hot tub. I felt my whole body warm up as I moved around in the hot water. I sat on the seat in the hot tub and I laid my head back against the concrete ground.

I heard as someone was coming out here and I lifted my head up and saw Matt. He smiled with his pearly white teeth and threw hit towel down, next to mine. "Can I join?" He asks, seeing that I was sprawled out. I laugh and nod my head yes. I watched as he took off his shirt to reveal his abs and how he ran his hand through his golden, curly hair.

No one's POV

Matt and Carly acted like they were just friends but in reality they were both deeply in love. They just couldn't admit it. Matt even told Erin that he use to like Carly but he said he doesn't like her anymore but he tells a different story when he's scooting closer to her on the couch.

Carly on the other hand has never told anyone that she has a crush on Matt. She has since they met but she found a boyfriend to distract her from those feelings but it didn't work. Now she's single and is still stuck on the same person.

"So what you up to" Matt asks placing his arms back on the concrete. "Nothing. You?" Carly asked looking over towards him. "Same as you" he says looking down at the water. "Hey, do you ever think that maybe you know who your soulmate is from the start?" Carly says keeping her head against the concert. "What do you mean" Matt asks doing the same as Carly. "Well like have you ever met someone and said, oh I wanna marry her, she's my soulmate?" Carly asks staring at Matt as steam came off his body. "I feel like everyone has met there soulmate and it just takes time to realize it was them. Then you go back to them cause in the end they are the ones you loved from the start." Matt said keeping eye contact with Carly. Carly just nodded her head and continued to look around. "Why you ask?" Matt questions. Carly smile's to herself, "no reason" she says looking back to Matt. "Yea, bullshit, just tell me" Matt said laughing. "Fine, I think I've found my soulmate" Carly said turning her head to make direct eye contact with Matt. "Who?" Matt asked as he gulped. He hoped it was him, he wanted her to say his name so bad.

"You" Carly said quietly. They stared into each other's eyes. Matt looked down to Carly's lips then back to her eyes. He scooted closer and she did the same. "I think I've found my soulmate too" he said quietly as he got closer and closer to Carly. Carly leaned in and he did the same. Her lips touched his and they melted into each other. It was so passionate and it was so needed fro the both of them. They pulled away, looking into each other's eyes. They both smiled. Matt put his hands to Carly's head and he brung them together so that their foreheads were touching. "I love you" Matt said as his voice cracked a little. "I love you too" Carly said back.

They both sat in the hot tub, enjoying each other's company. They had both fallen in love with each other and now they have admitted it.
