Yuta raised an eyebrow at the sitting one. He watched as Taeyong was letting the world change him already. The dark, dead eyes that belonged to him were now bright and twinkling.
"What kind of tattoo?" Yuta asked.
"LIMITLESS"
"Why LIMITLESS?" he asked.
"Because..because it's without end, limit, or boundary. Because it's only the beginning, the limitless me. Our existence is limitless." Taeyong gleamed.
"I like it. How about every person we add into our group has to get the tattoo also. It'll be a symbol of our friendship and partnership." Yuta suggested.
"We're going to add more people?" Taeyong asked.
"It's harder with just two."
Taeyong simply nodded as it did make sense. But how and who were they going to add? Why would people even want to join others?
Yuta had Taeyong help him color his hair and a fresh new cut. Yuta stared at himself and saw a whole new person. He could not recognize or get used to who was staring back at him.
"It looks nice. Looks different." Taeyong compliment.
"That's what we were going for right?" Yuta joked.
The two locked up and found themselves a tattoo shop. The man gave them free tattoos since they agreed to model for him.
After getting the tats, they decided to go eat. They stole food from a nearby convenience store. When home, they realized they didn't have a microwave for the ramen. A small knocking on the garage door startled the two.
Yuta opened the door enough to see the face. "What do you want?" he asked.
"Just figured you guys needed a microwave." the unknown person offered.
Taeyong went to the door and opened it for the stranger. Taeyong and Yuta stood staring at the strange man. The exchanged glances before someone spoke,
"How'd you know we were here?" Taeyong asked.
"I followed you guys."
Yuta grabbed a handful of the strangers' shirt. The man didn't bother to struggle. He just sat and stared Yuta in the eyes.
"Why were you following us?" Yuta asked.
"Because I came to help. You need resources and I have those resources. If that's not what you guys are looking for, I'll leave now and it'll be like nothing ever happened." he answered.
"But what if you blow our cover?" Taeyong asked.
"Don't be stupid. I know how this shit works. Either I keep my mouth shut or my family gets it. Sorry to break it to you, but my family's dead. So, am I in or not?" he answered.
"Are you trying to bargain with us?" Yuta asked.
"Sounds like it to me." he smirked and looked back at Taeyong.
"Bring the microwave."

The three sat and quietly ate their supper. Each one of them uncomfortably glancing from one body to the other. The tension in the air was uneasy. The only sounds that we're heard was the slow slurping of the noodles.
"What's your name anyways?" Yuta asked.
"Kim Doyoung. What about you guys?"
"Nakamoto Yuta."
"Lee Taeyong."
"You two are the ones who escaped the palace, right? Don't worry, I could care less about the prize money. I don't need money to get around. That's why I have my resources." he shrugged.
Yuta and Taeyong exchanged looks before lying their eyes back on Doyoung. He was happily enjoying his food without worries or doubts. He was the new edition to their duo. It'll take some time getting used to him, but it was a step forward. They were slowly but surely growing.
The three locked up for the night and fell asleep until the next morning.
—
The smell of food woke their hungry tummies up. Doyoung and Yuta looked around only to find Taeyong cooking.
"We got a long day ahead of us. So wake up and eat until your full." Taeyong announced.
"Why? What's the plan today?" Doyoung asked.
"We're going shopping."
"Shopping? For what?" it was Yuta's turn to ask.
"Shopping for roommates." he smiled mischievously.
